Great place as always, just be careful when tipping at the end while split-paying because the % is based on the entire total, and not based on what you split it as.

Shima absolutely delivered! The food was fire — those shrimp lollipops should honestly be illegal, they’re that good. Sandra and 3-day Ceci took the experience to another level with their energy and service. Love that Shima hires amazing people to match their amazing food. 10/10, already planning my next visit! I feel those that don’t pay attention to your name being called will need to wait again.

Delicious place with great atmosphere! The sushi carousel is very cool and brings lots of delicious small plates, and the don bowl I ordered was also very good! Would recommend for a casual date night or a nice dinner with friends!

We recently dined at Shima Sushi, and it was such a fun experience. Shima is best known for its sushi boats, which make for both a delicious and lively meal.

We started with a few items off the menu — gyoza (which amusingly also popped up later on one of the boats), the Cleopatra Roll, and the Jack Roll. Everything was fresh and flavorful.

When it comes to the boats, my recommendation is to focus on the freshly prepared items (skip anything wrapped in plastic). We enjoyed an impressive variety, including hot and sour chicken, tuna rolls, tempura shrimp, and more.

Highly recommend… but also don’t, because this neighborhood gem is one of Miami’s best-kept secrets.

This was mine and my husband's first time here and we were really impressed with the wide selection of sushi and appetizers that they offer. They were all placed on small boats that went around the seating area of the restaurant which we thought was a superb presentation. Everything we had was delicious and I would definitely recommend this place.

Shima has good sushi at a decent price with a nice variety to choose from. Even on a Wednesday night the line was long, which shows how popular it is. The only downside was that it felt like we were rushed a few times during dinner. Overall, still a solid spot for sushi if you don’t mind the wait.
