Basic "comida por libra" type of place with counter service. For the best deal, go with the specials, otherwise make sure to ask for pricing as it won't be posted anywhere. The portions are good albeit heavy on the rice. Attached is the latest Specials Menu. The price has gone up over the years (I remember when it was as low as $4.99).
The food is good. The service is fine. The issue was the order I had placed to go. According to them, it was food for 10 people. White rice, black beans, ropa vieja, and fried plantains. Everything was okay, except for the beans which served about 3 people. I went back and they happily SOLD me more.
