Popular place with locals but for us bit disappointing. For the price of the breakfast I think you should get a better portion. My wife had the oatmeal and she wasn’t sure if she should eat it or lay bricks with it.

This place is a really nice southern Cafe. Service was amazing. I was just disappointed in the burger. I eat at bevs burger right down the road, and it's easily the best burger in the area, including Lake City.

I got a bacon and egg burger. At this Cafe, it was bland as could be. I don't think a single bit of salt or pepper was added to the burger. Fries were decent, but unsalted too. 3/10.

So yummy! The original restaurant in Highsprings. So many choices but settled on an old fashioned patty melt on rye with grilled onions. Made to perfection with petite tater spots and Tea. Comfort food at its finest!

Bev’s delivers that true home-cooked goodness—juicy burgers, flavorful grilled chicken, and crispy onion rings that hit just right. But the real star of the show? The fried pickles. My favorite favorite favorite. Light, crunchy, perfectly seasoned… truly unmatched.

If you’re ever in town, do yourself a favor and stop by Bev’s. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed having both breakfast and dinner here. They actually served chicken, liver and chicken gizzards which my wife had for dinner and she said they were really good. I tried their chicken fried steak and I found it fairly good. Overall not a bad place to have breakfast and lunch

Double cheeseburger with onion rings and a Large sweet tea hit the spot! The same great food and service I remember getting with my grandpa!

We have been coming to Bev's for many years. However, we have not been since they no longer serve dinner because of working. We went today for lunch. Our meal cost an extra $3.98 today. We each chose a vegetable that was listed on the board of specials. When the bill came there was an extra $1.99 a piece. The board did not say this vegetable was an upcharge. When I spoke to the server, she said you are right it should have been specified on the board. I will let them know. The blackeyed peas were so salty they could not been eaten. They are now charging more if you do noto pay cash. Even if you use a debit card, nor credit. Customer service should mean something.

Best burgers in all of Alachua County. That includes the 3 Bev's Better Burgers drive thru's serving the area. Fantastic breakfast! Some of the lowest prices you're going to find compared to other local restaurants. Wide variety of meals and specials daily. If it weren't good, they wouldn't be serving since 1985.
