I make it a habit not to support any place that treats their staff poorly. I don’t care how good the food is! Servers that come in & bust their butts all day only to be yelled at and have things THROWN at them by the owner; absolutely unacceptable.

Hailey who served us was amazing very tentative and made us feel right at home 🏠 the food was amazing props to the cook 🧑🍳 the pricing was also really good for the amount of food you get 🙂 we will definitely be back for breakfast one day ☺️💯💙

The servers are nice, but beware if you are paying with a card, I had someone take out money and showed proof, they wouldn't replace it....
I was assured they had no record of this, but my statement shows that someone took it.
The prices went up by 3 or 4 dollars.
Food is good though....

Thank you Thank you for saving my potato salad disaster Thanksgiving morning! Could not have saved it without Blue Star giving my Husband much needed celery because the groceries are closed! The reduce is Fantastic!! Thank you for saving my Hiney for the pot luck dish I have to take to work tomorrow 💕

I won’t get into a long drawn out review. I think the negative reviews they receive kind of all have the same subject matter. Terrible service. Being ignored by the server while she helps those she knows as regulars, waiting so long for silverware that the food is cold, getting up to find the waitress to try and get silverware, being passed by over and over as she heads to other tables. Just a very bad experience. We had high hopes for a new breakfast spot, but no luck. I guess we will just stick with Bevs!

I was very disappointed in the dinner entree. I thought as per the description in the menu, I was ordering a roast beef dinner….. instead it was an open face sliced lunch meat roast beef on top of bread with gravy, A special that was on the lunch menu and chalk board! I was charged $17.00 for a sandwich, mashed potatoes and a salad! As per a positive comment, the young girl that served us was very sweet and attentive! She was however, responsible for taking orders, serving, and clearing all tables with no help! Very dissatisfied and won’t go back! ?

Headed to high springs to wait out Milton’s wrath and stopped in for breakfast a few times during the week stay. The first time was excellent - hot coffee, nice service, clean and food was good. The second time the service was off, the waitress was borderline rude and clearly didn’t want to be there. There was dirty tables all around us and it was very chaotic. Food was consistent. The third time was back to the first experience. With that giving 4 stars because it seems like the experience can vary depending on the day and staff working.

Really big portions (too much) of kind of mediocre food. We have tried them several times now, and other than the desserts which are excellent ?, the food is kind of plain. Outstanding service, food comes out quick, friendly family atmosphere and worth a visit if you find yourself in High Springs.
