Mindy was awesome! My brother and I got to Ginnie Springs late so decided to pop in for dinner. Great service, great positivity, will return just for her!

The atmosphere is nice. The location is delightful. Beautiful small town, but the chili rellenos meal was disappointing. You could tell it was already fried once an put into the refrigerator, to be fried again. Cold on the inside, over fried on the outside, on a really hot plate that did nothing for the meal. Not mention we had to send the chips back, because they were stale. And you'll rarely see a waiter. We've been like 10 times. Always the same

Andrei Matamoros is a liar. I sat right next to him and he was rude to the bartender all night and complained she was the issue. She gave us great service and I wouldn't take anything that Andrei says seriously

Took my grandchildren to this restaurant Friday night, when I arrived there was no hostess, I waited a few minutes and went to the bar to ask if I needed to seat myself or would someone seat me, the bartender said oh we are busy and she will be right with you (I noticed 3 servers standing at the kitchen window waiting for there food) the bartender approached one of them and she pulled herself away from the window to seat me. Within a few minutes she served me the chips and salsa. The chips were in a yellow basket and I saw (i think) grease all over it. I called the server over and showed her the basket, she replaced it with a new basket. I then looked at the menu and it was gross, there was salsa and fingerprints so obviously dirty, I called her back again and asked her to please wipe it down. The floor around my table had garbage all over it. My grandchildren arrived and we put in our order, we waited for probably close to an hour and I noticed there were only two cooks in the kitchen. After the younger grandchildren started getting a bit ansy i asked the server if she could check on the status of our food, she let me know that they were busy and I said all i asked you to do was check on it for me. When she did bring the food the plates were extremely hot so much so that she was wearing a mitt and she set in front of the nine year old saying the plate was hot and I said to her why do you give hot plates to children, she said I don't know but we do. Then she tried to put a hot plate in front of the 4 year old and I stopped her and asked to get us a plate so we could transfer the food so he would not get burned. She was very hesitant about doing so, but she did do it. Another server came up with the plate and let me know she did not like the way I spoke to this server and I should be a bit kinder and all I could think about is my four year old grandson getting burnt. I let her in know uncertain terms I did not appreciate her attitude.
On the plus side the food was excellent, but because of the conditions of the restaurant and attitude of the staff I will not be back.

Most items came out cold or barley warm and there wasn't much flavor, definitely not something you'd expect from "the best mexican in town".

My husband and I went for our first time to this restaurant on a Sunday around 1PM. They were busy, no big deal at all - we expected that on a Sunday after church. No one was at the front to get our party size, we stood there with 0 interaction (other than workers eyeing us) for no less than 5 minutes. I stepped to the side and asked a waitress, “Does someone seat us?” not having been before, wanted to confirm. Then, a large party of 16 came in behind us. She told the man that finally came to greet & seat us that “they are regulars” and they sat themselves in the table he said he was going to clean for us. When I asked why they got sat before us, I was told “she said she was here first” and proceeded to let them seat themselves in our table. As much as I know they don’t care we won’t be returning, we will not be. Really unfortunate first visit and will be sure to relay that to our community if they provide this establishment as an option for lunches or dinners in the future.

They used to have the BEST guacamole dip. Tonight we received the guacamole dip cup, and it was literally only smashed avocado. No added ingredients. I was so disappointed. The manager (possibly the owner?) told my husband there were two different kinds; sliced and smashed. The man was talking about two different ways they serve the avocados, as if he had no idea what guacamole was ...it was so strange. I guess they just don't make actual guacamole anymore. Therefore, expect to pay $9 for a large cup of smashed up avocado. We live minutes away from here, and I've had their guacamole dip many times. Last time I'll order it, unfortunately.

I do not recommend. We ordered 3 different things and they were out of what we wanted. The cheese dip was watery and cold. Our food was lukewarm and some of it was cold. The drinks were very weak. Not worth what we paid.
