BARELY one year after the Gainesville Sun reported about poor financial decisions the restaurant has made, they are back to repeating it. Twice within 6 months the employees have NOT been paid. Including their most recent pay. In this economy the audacity to not pay your employees and offer false promises of when you will is disgusting!. Multiple reports have been filed with Wages and Hour division now, and will be contacting the Gainesville Sun for this disgrace.

This was our first visit to Great Outdoors Restaurant. Beautiful, Clean, quiet, upscale facility. Down side to the atmosphere of this facility were the Host & Waitresses. Male Host Door Greater was dressed in cut off shorts and looked like he was going to a football game. Not all waitresses were dressed appropriately. One gal had shorts nearly showing her butt cheeks. Very little about the service personal fit the ambiance of this restaurant. We traveled from Lake City for this experience. Our opinion is they need to dress appropriately for these upscale restaurant positions.

Fabulous! Who knew we would find the best conch fritters here? My husband got a Moscow Mule drink and that was super too.
There are a bunch of other things I want to try too.
