“Food was pretty good. The barbacoa was fatty but tasty. The ordering was a little awkward, no one was at the window and it appeared closed but when I rang the bell they finally came to the window and spoke through a tiny gap over the window. I paid and received the food this way “

“This is the real deal! The Birria Ramen is excellent. The Quesabirria are excellent and really a a good size portion. The steak tacos are so affordable and delicious. Great new location and the owners are amazing. The service is excellent and quick. I love the fact that we can sit and enjoy or take it out easily. Hidden gem of Lakeland for sure! :)“

“We were in town for an event and Abuelo's was recommended. One of the best meals I have had and customer service was exceptional. The El Jefe margarita is top notch and our waitress, along with the bartender, did an amazing job with recommendations based on what we told them we preferred. Loved our dinner and would make a trip back!“

“OUTDOOR atmosphere, reminds me of back home, american south west. Walk-up window as is should be, young lady is polite and friendly, helpful. It's an food truck (red) in the parking lot, you've passed it many of times.
If you've eaten there in the past and the wait time was to long for you, don't come back. Real authentic Mexican food isn't your tacebell, the wait time is no different than indoor restaurants but, SO WORTH IT!!! There's a fresh juice truck next to it, ? El Chappo/Charpo fresh Fuentes (fruit) vs, sorry for miss spelling.

IT IS OUTDOORS, for those who missed "food truck", I rarely do reviews of any type.

Parking: same lot as Dollar General store.

Kid-friendliness: Bring kids, but their your kids so you keep an eye on then, nobody likes unnecessary dinner interruptions, especially here!!!!

Wheelchair accessibility: They'll help you and depending on the time of day, others will hand you your food, don't be so dramatic.“

“Just left. 1/17/2025. Food is excellent but….service tonight was horrible. Never refilled water glasses, my husband got the burrito and asked for some queso to put over it. The girl brought him shredded cheese! Gave us a container for the guacamole and the wrong lid. In between each request we wondered if our waitress was coming back. Finally brought the bill and once again never came back. We finally took the bill to the front to pay. I love their food but when the service is bad it ruins everything 👎“

Since moving here, I haven't been able to find good, real Mexican food other than inside our own kitchen as I'm married to a Mexican. This place had our jaws on the floor! The journey your tastebuds go on, from the first bite to the last, is one everyone strives to experience when dining out. Not only is their food outstanding, but their customer service is excellent. For example, during Hurricane Milton, they were there for this community. When all of us were at home readying our homes for the storm, the staff remained at work to ensure everyone had access to a hot meal. When all of us were sitting without power, worrying about storm damage and cleaning up, the staff served our community with hot meals. This is going over and beyond in so many ways. I will be a forever client of this establishment due to their high-quality food and how they care about the communities they serve. We recently bought a home less than two miles from one of their locations. I am not exaggerating when I tell you I eat here five days a week, sometimes more. We volunteer at Bartow Middle School 3-4 days a week. What do the teachers and staff ask us to get when there? The lake house. Please stop by and allow your senses to fall in love with this hidden gem. Let’s support small businesses like this that serve our community so well.“

We used their house DJ who has a great personality and played great music. They had a looping video playing on a big drop-down projection screen. “So this taco truck replaced the one that was there. I was a little bummed because the old one was amazing. This one has no price tags listed. Thankfully I kept my order small and had enough to cover it. The Goridita was a little small but the filling and the veggies were very fresh. The quesadilla was packed full of cheese and had a nice hand made flour tortilla. The staff was friendly and the truck looked clean. Maybe this isn't the best location for this truck because of what the flea market crowd typically wants to spend on food.“

“My first time experience at Moe's turned out to be better than I expected. Someone told me about Birria so I tried the Birria Bowl. The meat was so tender and flavorful.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. She tried to explain the ingredients for each items because I don't eat onion. I like the selection of the sauce they have. It's so much fun to eat with the chips.“
