When all of us were at home readying our homes for the storm, the staff remained at work to ensure everyone had access to a hot meal. When all of us were sitting without power, worrying about storm damage and cleaning up, the staff served our community with hot meals. This is going over and beyond in so many ways. I will be a forever client of this establishment due to their high-quality food and how they care about the communities they serve. We recently bought a home less than two miles from one of their locations. I am not exaggerating when I tell you I eat here five days a week, sometimes more. We volunteer at Bartow Middle School 3-4 days a week. What do the teachers and staff ask us to get when there? The lake house. We used their house DJ who has a great personality and played great music. They had a looping video playing on a big drop-down projection screen. They worked with us to set up the space to accommodate a 360 photobooth, 100 gift bags, and our vision for people gathering to eat from our on-site food truck! It was the perfect event!“

Maybe this isn't the best location for this truck because of what the flea market crowd typically wants to spend on food.“

BECAUSE THE FOOD HERE IS OUTSTANDING! This is somewhere that you go when you love authentic food. Food that is made from scratch… food that is fresh and delicious. And for what you get, it is extraordinarily affordable. This is not where you go on date night, unless your date loves authentic Mexican food. This is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in Winter Haven, and it is always a treat to go there. My only regret is that I don’t have a bigger stomach, because it is all outstanding and I want to try everything!“

“I tried this place for lunch today. I ordered the mango avocado chicken salad. When I got back to work, I realized there was no salad dressing for my salad. I called them, clearly upset because I hadn't received the salad dressing. They told me the salad dressing was already mixed in, a lime and salt dressing. I was so confused because they didn't sound very good, but I figured I would at least try it. OMG IT WAS SO GOOD! One of the best salads I've ever tasted. “I have nothing but good things to say about this place. First off, I’d been craving GOOD tacos for quite some time. Especially when it comes to barbacoa and lengua. Most restaurants try to pass off a cheaper cut of meat as barbacoa but not here. It was so tender and flavorful! The menudo was perfect. Everything was tender and not chewy. She warned me about the red sauce being very hot but I feel it was the perfect amount of spice for my daughter and I. The piña frescas was nice and refreshing. It wasn’t overfilled with ice. I drove from north Lakeland just to try them and I’m so glad they were open. This is now my favorite Mexican restaurant in Bartow. The customer service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Can’t wait to try more! Unfortunately I didn’t get many photos because everything was sooooo good. People that know me know how much of a foody I am and this is authentic Mexican food. Full of flavor and love!“
