“Food that makes you take a moment to appreciate high-quality cuisine. Not only is their food freshly made when you order, but it also tastes phenomenal. Nothing on their menu is terrible. The journey your tastebuds go on, from the first bite to the last, is one everyone strives to experience when dining out. Not only is their food outstanding, but their customer service is excellent. For example, during Hurricane Milton, they were there for this community. When all of us were at home readying our homes for the storm, the staff remained at work to ensure everyone had access to a hot meal. When all of us were sitting without power, worrying about storm damage and cleaning up, the staff served our community with hot meals. This is going over and beyond in so many ways. I will be a forever client of this establishment due to their high-quality food and how they care about the communities they serve. We recently bought a home less than two miles from one of their locations. I am not exaggerating when I tell you I eat here five days a week, sometimes more. We volunteer at Bartow Middle School 3-4 days a week. What do the teachers and staff ask us to get when there? The lake house. Please stop by and allow your senses to fall in love with this hidden gem. Let’s support small businesses like this that serve our community so well.“

“Just left. 1/17/2025. Food is excellent but….service tonight was horrible. Never refilled water glasses, my husband got the burrito and asked for some queso to put over it. The girl brought him shredded cheese! Gave us a container for the guacamole and the wrong lid. In between each request we wondered if our waitress was coming back. Finally brought the bill and once again never came back. We finally took the bill to the front to pay. I love their food but when the service is bad it ruins everything 👎“

“OUTDOOR atmosphere, reminds me of back home, american south west. Walk-up window as is should be, young lady is polite and friendly, helpful. It's an food truck (red) in the parking lot, you've passed it many of times.
If you've eaten there in the past and the wait time was to long for you, don't come back. Real authentic Mexican food isn't your tacebell, the wait time is no different than indoor restaurants but, SO WORTH IT!!! There's a fresh juice truck next to it, ? El Chappo/Charpo fresh Fuentes (fruit) vs, sorry for miss spelling.

Parking: same lot as Dollar General store.

Kid-friendliness: Bring kids, but their your kids so you keep an eye on then, nobody likes unnecessary dinner interruptions, especially here!!!!

Wheelchair accessibility: They'll help you and depending on the time of day, others will hand you your food, don't be so dramatic.“

“Was the perfect venue for our party! The space inside and out is beautiful and clean. The planner and bar staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. We used their house DJ who has a great personality and played great music. They had a looping video playing on a big drop-down projection screen. They worked with us to set up the space to accommodate a 360 photobooth, 100 gift bags, and our vision for people gathering to eat from our on-site food truck! It was the perfect event!“

Maybe this isn't the best location for this truck because of what the flea market crowd typically wants to spend on food.“

And for what you get, it is extraordinarily affordable. This is not where you go on date night, unless your date loves authentic Mexican food. This is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in Winter Haven, and it is always a treat to go there. My only regret is that I don’t have a bigger stomach, because it is all outstanding and I want to try everything!“

Most restaurants try to pass off a cheaper cut of meat as barbacoa but not here. It was so tender and flavorful! The menudo was perfect. Everything was tender and not chewy. She warned me about the red sauce being very hot but I feel it was the perfect amount of spice for my daughter and I. The piña frescas was nice and refreshing. It wasn’t overfilled with ice. I drove from north Lakeland just to try them and I’m so glad they were open. This is now my favorite Mexican restaurant in Bartow. The customer service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Can’t wait to try more! Unfortunately I didn’t get many photos because everything was sooooo good. People that know me know how much of a foody I am and this is authentic Mexican food.
