I went to leave a review and saw one from 4 months ago with the same experience. Lol not a fluke! Burnt fries in old oil and I was told that hand cut fries just looked like that. They were so rank that the smell was making me nauseous. I can’t believe they saw that and thought it was okay to serve it to people, much less defend it. First they said the oil was new and then admitted “it might be getting old soon”.

Fried egg sandwich was delicious, hashbrown was a Little over cooked , service was alright , she never came back to see if I needed anything or never see if I needed a refill on my drink and she act didn't want to be there.

the server tried to tell me my burnt fries were because they were hand cut. She rushed me through my order and wasn't very friendly, didn't offer to substitute the burned fries. The burger was ok. FIRST AND LAST TIME HERE.

Had a hamburger steak with real mashed potatoes and gravy. EXCELLENT. You could tell they took pride in their food and restaurant. Everything was clean people were friendly. Stumbled onto by accident. Absolutely going back

The blonde waitress seems to favor others and is quiet to those she doesn't know. When the owner is in with a group of people all of the focus seems to be on him. They have a board on the wall that mentions sides of the day(besides different types of fries). Those items on that board are an upcharge with anything you order on the menu and they do not tell you that. I do not like the atmosphere. Everything is wood and uniform, and there is no novelty to it like when the original owner did. There is no pride in the service unless Mr. McClinton(the owner) is in there.
omg the half pound burger is huge and the meat delicious. I got onion rings best I ever had. the onions were so tender and the light batter was great. service was a bit slow but they were nice just not overly friendly

The Turkey and ham club is amazing! It's big enough for two. I've had it twice and it's been delicious both times. Definitely recommend the club sandwich!

Biscuits and gravy and French toast with their butter pecan sauce is amazing. Hash browns were also really good, we are just passing thru but would definitely stop again! They serve breakfast all day!
