Food was not as good as it used to be. Fried porkchops were basically flavorless. Hamburgers were overcooked and with soggy fries. Ordered via phone for takeout, when I arrived, several things had to be substituted for one issue or another.

Service was terrible. When I told the waitress we would not be returning customers she went and got the owner. He approached us with a terrible attitude!! He said “what’s the problem over here”! I told him from the moment we walked in the waitress had a terrible attitude. When I asked for extra butter she said, it’s cooked with butter already. My sandwich was suppose to have bacon on it and wasn’t on there. When I asked for it she got an attitude again. She then brought out half cooked bacon for me to put on my sandwich. Then at the end she brought the check to us and all the prices were different than what is printed on the menu. When I asked about that he said it’s more when you use a credit card. I told him she didn’t ask how I was paying and there is no sign saying prices are higher when using debit. That menu prices are menu prices. He quoted “” GET OFF MY PROPERTY “! I will not be coming back to this place!!

Nice little place. Food was fantastic (complements to the chef). We were able to have breakfast early in the morning, just the two of us. I recommend stopping in and grabbing a bite if you can.The earlier, the better!

I had the philly cheese steak and it was really tasty ?. Don't let the older outside appearance fool you, it's super clean and updated on the inside. You should definitely give them a try if passing through Hilliard FL.
Ridiculously expensive for a small town restaurant. They charged me $21.09 for a ham and cheese omelet and some gravy. Plus I had a water to drink. It came with hash browns and a biscuit. I questioned her when I checked out and her reply was "sorry, the omelets are pretty expensive ".The waitress was super sweet and she did great. The food was fine but not 21 dollars fine.Even the new Grumpys at Wildlight, which is expensive, isn't close to that.I'm really upset because I'd live to support my local restaurant but I can't, I just can't.I also will not be back to try lunch, there is no way I could afford it.

I ordered my side salad with no cheese it was brought to me with a lot of cheese.... she took my salad and took the cheese out of my salad with her bear hands then looked at from the trashcan and says is a little cheese okay!!! I didn't say anything when she brought it back I was just not going to eat it but when my sandwich arrived to the table and there was long blonde hair in it my hair is dark brown!! I left. I will never eat there ever again
