I wasted $15 and the food was so horrible it went straight in the trash. I don't normally do reviews but this is the 5th time in almost as many visits that l've had an issue.
l ordered a bacon egg and cheese with an extra egg and extra butter on a toasted everything bagel, with a hashbrown and apple juice. I'd share a picture of my receipt they didn't give one. There was no second fried egg and no butter. The bagel wasn't toasted, it was pale in color and it tasted doughy. I tried not to waste it but in my second bite I got a mouthful of an edge of the fried egg which tasted and had the consistency of melted plastic so bad I almost choked trying to swallow.
I feel this place has a decent menu, usually friendly staff, convenient and quaint venue/atmosphere especially since l live in the community up the street. However. I can't justify wasting $15 on inedible food. I'm 9 months pregnant so maybe my expectations were just too high today : (
Edit 1/5/25: second week in a row this location has messed up my order. I ordered 2 fried eggs with CHEDDAR cheese on an everything bagel toasted with extra butter. I’m not sure what kind of cheese was on it but it was white and gooey :( I ordered online so it’s not as if I was misheard. Tried calling but NO ONE ever answers the phone over there. At this point I would expect a manager to start being present because this is ridiculous especially for the price. I’m 9 months pregnant and crying over a bagel may seem silly but it’s not okay it’s a weekly occasion :(

I’m 9 months pregnant, starving and crying over a bagel which may seem silly but it’s not okay and it’s not okay that it’s a weekly occurrence! My husband just went back there and they said too bad so sad they already turned off the grill. This place has gone so far downhill it’s sad. We’ve enjoyed going there since they opened but now I’m so disappointed I’ll stop wasting my money and start sharing my reviews everywhere I can. I think it’s wonderful they hire youth but these kids need more training unless they just simply cannot follow instructions. Either way… the Hobe Sound Bagel Bistro needs to DO BETTER!

Great comfy atmosphere, friendly coworkers, great food. Best bagel place around
Vegetarian options: Alot of ppl bring their dogs when they come bc they have great outdoor seating!
Kid-friendliness: Not much for kids to do and I'm not sure about whether or not they have a kids menu but I dont believe so.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have ramps for easy accessibility.

Bagel Bistro is a small, casual breakfast and sandwich eatery. I'm addicted to their breakfast sandwiches, but my friend is equally addicted to their bagels. It is one of our favorite places to eat & schmooze, where no one bothers you for staying too long. Love this place.

I go to this location once or twice a week. I've noticed when certain people are there, the quality suffers and is inconsistent. I've worked in restaurants all of my life and I'd never serve this. Needless to say, breakfast today was not good and a waste of money.

Great NY style bagels, I live in Georgia and I'm happy to visit Florida where so many of my fellow NYers have settled and started pizza and bagel shops😍 this one is great, haven't tried the lox which should be great as well.

A few days ago we went to get breakfast here. My 5 month old son has a major dairy allergy, so I cannot have dairy. I specifically asked the woman taking our order if there was dairy in the frozen coffee and bagels. To my surprise, she said no! She even checked the ingredients in the frozen coffee in front of us - stating all flavors have the same ingredients. I was shocked! So, naturally, I ordered it because it’s extremely hard to find dairy free food. I was excited - coming here for breakfast the last few days! My son has been spitting up thick contents (literally projectile) - which happens when I have dairy. I was tracing back what I ate for this to happen. Yesterday, I went in and asked a different worker if there was dairy in both the frozen coffee and bagels, and her eyes got real big and said yes! She was even shocked this happened. Now, I am dealing with a major food allergy that hasn’t occurred in a long time, breast milk being dumped going to waste. We eat out at restaurants frequently and have not ran into this issue. This is a serious situation, and the young staff, well, all staff, should probably be trained properly on allergens in a food setting. Aside from that, the food is great.

Ordered bacon egg and cheese and received bacon egg and mayonnaise called to tell him, expecting an apology and was told the cheese melts really fast…. First I live a couple of blocks away and mostly I know the difference in mayonnaise or cheese. Also ordered a cinnamon roll and received no sugar on it, again no apologies just an excuse.

Restaurantji Recommends
This establishment is a ripp off with their prices. A croissant, a small cookie and two refrigerated beverages $15! They are insane. I would not recommend this place. The croissant was not even edible. The service is no one was there and I had to wait.

The workers could clean off tables sweep the floor when there are only 3 customers sitting down. They just stand behind counter on iPhones.
I wiped off my own table with wipes in my purse.
My crepe was disgusting too!
Love the variety of bagels and cream cheese flavors!
