Citron Bistro, Hobe Sound

This is a lovely restaurant, (formerly was the location of Taste Restaurant). It has a great vibe; it is very welcoming and nicely decorated. The service was outstanding; however, the food was mediocre, at best. I had the filet and mashed potatoes, the filet was tender, but boring, absolutely had no flavor, just a good cut of meat, cooked perfectly, but zero flavor. The mashed potatoes were dry, and again, no flavor, butter and salt would have been a nice addition. Some bearnaise sauce would have been great for the filet, but no options for that. My husband had the stir fry with chicken. Again, well made, but nothing great. They do offer a full bar, and nice dessert options. Our server was Cecily, and we also had Austin that was helping, both were readily available and very pleasant. Jennifer was at the hostess stand when we arrived, knew who we were by our reservation time and was helpful when I had a problem with my cocktail. I counted only 15 patrons during the time we were there, 7 PM on a Saturday evening. Maybe adding some "spice" to their menu items would be helpful. Just a suggestion.

We dined at Citron for the first time yesterday evening. We cannot wait to go back! Hostess, servers, food and ambience were all excellent. Well worth the drive from Stuart!

Great evening at the Bistro. My wifes meal was great (she is seafood snob from New England) with PEI Mussels and health portion on Lobster Roll. Happy hour drinks decent price. We will be back

Wonderful service in a lovely setting. The lunch menu held a variety of options and the meals were delicious! I've been here many time for lunch, dinner and drinks, always a great experience. Highly recommend!

Dinner (prime rib) excellent, dessert decadent, service friendly, efficient, knowledgable, ambience on the patio delightful. More than eating out - a great dining experience

Delicious prime rib and perfectly cooked! Wonderful and attentive service. A fabulous Caesar salad with anchovies which many dining rooms don't offer.

Beautiful tranquil coastal feel, excellent food , presentation very nice. Staff very nice helpful yet a uniform shirt would improve neat appearance .

Citron Bistro is a hidden gem in Hobe Sound FL. The outside patio is bug free and very quiet and a beautiful setting. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend this eating establishment. Causal & awesome dining experience.

A wonderful local find- understatedly upscale with excellent food and great service. Garden seating in the evening is delightful.

Food was very good but staff and service was exceptional. And when you go to a restaurant to have a good time you want service and staff to be as good as food .

You gotta be kidding me, we took some folks to citron bistro that have never been there. They enjoyed everything such a big hit can't say enough about the atmosphere, appetizers, entrées, quality of service, and desserts absolutely over the top! Can't wait to return.

Diverse menu with interesting choices. The French Onion Soup is outstanding. The tuna entree is so good I've had it twice. Never been disappointed.
