Have been there before and went back for lunch today. No comments on the service or food BUT----I ordered french fries with my meal and was charged an additional 75 cents. No other restaurant charges that.. Then there was a printed notice. on the table They ad an AUTOMATIC18% gratuity to the bill and a 3% credit card usage fee. It says you can ad more to the gratuity,... We just don't like that arrangement and will not be returning.

Disappointed with everything overall. Drinks, food temps, duration between appetizers and meal orders, the asking for medium to medium rare on my pattymelt...to get a barely rare with some raw. Just wasn't what we hoped for with such a great atmosphere. We're locals and will continue to just pass on by this place like before.

Had high hopes because of other reviews and it being a local joint. Really good service but we found the food to be less than expected.

This restaurant is a true hometown gem!

It’s been serving the community for over 70 years and has that Cheers vibe—when you’re a regular, everyone really does know your name. Harry, the owner, always greets you with a smile, a story, or a joke, and Kandy along with the entire staff make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.

The food is consistently good with something for everyone, and the atmosphere is made even more special by Harry carrying on his late mother’s tradition of putting fresh flowers on every table—a sentimental touch you don’t find many places anymore.

They’re also very involved in community outreach, showing how much they care about giving back. And if you’re looking for fun, you’ll find it here: live bands on the weekends and music bingo on Thursdays are always a great time.

This place combines tradition, community, great food, and fun under one roof. Truly one of those rare spots that makes you feel at home every time you visit!

The atmosphere inside and large outdoor eating area were neat! The reuben and fish sandwich were excellent. The onion rings were hand dipped and came with a tasty dip. The quiche was dried out. The cucumber salad and Cole slaw tasted like sour vinegar and inedible. Overall it is a unique local favorite.

This is my second time here and our family absolutely loves it. The food is great and the atmosphere is so fun and friendly. Live music often and the offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff both times were very attentive. This will definitely become a family go to for us!

Very disappointing experience. We came in for breakfast and only managed to get four cups of coffee. After that, no one came to take our food order, even though we sat there waiting for almost 30 minutes. The staff seemed more focused on wiping and clearing tables than actually serving customers. They walked past us multiple times without acknowledging us or showing any service mind at all.

In the end, we just paid for the coffee and left. Honestly expected much better, especially after hearing so many good things about this place. It wasn’t even that busy, so there was no excuse for the lack of service. Definitely not coming back.

I drive past this restaurant often and have been intrigued to stop in. Just recently, we had an event near there, took advantage of being close and went afterwards for a late lunch. We made it a few minutes before happy hour which was an excellent deal! We were with our two dogs and had an amazing server who realized how hot it was out. It wasn’t too busy so she put us in the corner under the shade and brought the doggies some water. We were all happy to relax and cool down, especially with some drinks. We ordered drinks and food off the happy hour menu and a regular menu item as well. Everything came out quick and was delicious. We will definitely be back and appreciate the service. I wish I remembered our servers name but she was thin and had short brown hair. I’m sorry I can’t remember your name, but thank you!!

Great Bloody Mary’s and the blackened Maui Rueben was awesome…went with all of bartender Freddy’s recommendations and they were home runs…can’t wait to back!!!!
