We love this place. We have been going to The Asian Restaurant for years and it it is still one of our favorites. The staff is lovely and the food never disappoints. The soups are really good as are the fried dumplings and the seaweed salad. Honestly, we have enjoyed everything on the menu. They package their takeout perfectly too.
The steamed dumplings are great. Still no indoor dining only take out but it's always fast and fresh. .
Very nice! We tried the vegetarian chicken and broccoli and the vegetarian orange chicken. Both outstanding . We are eating the vegetable fried rice now. Also very good. I would say the two vegetarian chicken dishes were the standouts. We tried ordering the vegetarian beef, but they did not have in stock. Maybe next week. We drive from New Haven and it was worth the trip. We will be back to try the beef.
My husband & I have been frequent diners and taken friends & family to Wabi Sabi. When they closed in March because of Covid, we were sad and hoping they would reopen. Now they are open for takeout and we have been ordering takeout weekly. Wonderful fresh melt in your mouth sushi, excellent service. We've ordered the salmon' lover's sushi and the sushi for two (which is a little like a Chef's choice) and occasionally we order a la carte. Wabi sabi almost always has Toro sushi --- the fatty tuna sushi that is very melt in your mouth. The sushi for two has been some of the most fantastic sushi I've ever tasted. We also like the pork dumplings in peanut sauce, the salmon carpaccio, the salmon tartar. I don't think there is a bad item on the menu and we are slowly and happily working our way down the menu list. We strongly recommend Wabi Sabi to everyone. Right now Wabi Sabi is only open for take out.
Just got some sushi from this place. Incredible. Very fresh ??. Soft crab roll is amazing. Definitely would tell others about this place. It is worth every dollar and the staff are very nice people. The place is clean, they make it right in front of you for you to see all the ingredients are fresh everytime I go there. This is like my third time going there and it's been worth it everytime I went.
Ordered a roll, app and shrimp noodles. Not good. It was bad to say the least.
Hair in my ice miso soup tasted like old fish tank water had to leave ASAP
I went for the first time a few weeks ago and I must say that the food was very delicious. The quality and flavors of everything that I ordered was quite good, including a Teriyaki chicken that I ordered for my son. I definitely recommended Wabi Sabi.
This was my first time ordering and I will definitely be back. The prices are affordable and the quality is amazing.

Awesome sushi place with reasonable prices compared to other local sushi places
Such amazing staff. It's a hidden gem. Looks rough on the surface but the food is amazing ♡ cant beat the price either!
We order sushi from here all the time. We love the ahi tuna roll. It's fantastic. We pass 4 other sushi places to get it from Wasabi.
