Anchor is honestly just a really good time. The bartender Joey is phenomenal, and it’s the kind of place where people come to relax, hang out, and stay awhile. There’s pool to play, a super social crowd, and you can even pick the music through an app, which makes it feel extra fun and laid-back. They’ve got simple snacks like bags of chips if you get hungry (fair warning—nothing fancy), and while there is smoking inside, the atmosphere is still lively and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a casual spot with great energy and good people, this place delivers.

i went to the anchor inn last year when i was 22 and had a great time but this year at 23 my ID was called fake. it is a real ID and i showed a pdf of my passport too but was still declined. the scanner must be broken. i am sad cuz i like it there

Stopped here based on the look of it alone. Got exactly what I expected and so much more. The bartender was on top of everything and actually had 2 pizzas delivered right after we got there. Free pizza great drinks and the type of bar they sing about in country songs.

We found this place in 2003. My fiance & I would close the Blinker in Gulfport, hop on my bike & fly over the Skyway for a night cap and a 12pk to go from the Anchor. Very comfortable and friendly little tavern. PS; "Don't drink & drive"
