Oh where to start! We were vacationing in Anna Maria for our 10th year and Beach Bistro was recommended for my birthday outing. We called ahead and found that you have 2 choices here- the 4 course Dinner in main dining room- or- a la carte from bar area. We chose the latter. It was beautiful in looks right off. Old wood, low ceilings etc. Very warm and inviting!
Greeted by our bartender who was so gracious and kind. Led us through anything we asked and made a fabulous drink ! We enjoyed those 2 hours more than we could say. The food was one good bite after another ! We started with a fresh salad, then an appetizer of shrimp & crab which were perfect. Entree was Lobster tail and Grouper. All fantastic! The dessert was vanilla ice cream rolled in pralines topped with slivered almonds and Frangelica! Still thinking of that now!
Cannot wait to go back next year as this is our new place to be !
This place was amazing! Right on the beach, prime spot for a sunset dinner. Went for my wife's birthday. Everybody treated us so well. Our waiter was Matt. He was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, and Joey made sure our wine glasses never got empty. The duckling confit was one of the best things on the menu! The skin was crispy as could be, with juicy, tender meat. All four courses were delicious and thoughtfully made. It was pricier thabln I expected, but it was well worth it! All-around incredible experience. 10/10 would recommend.
One of the most amazing meals of my life! The food was incredible. Not cheap by any means but if you enjoy fine dining it’s quite an experience. It made for a very special birthday celebration for my wife.

This was just incredible from the moment we parked the car! We were confused on the menu online and how it all worked. We sat at the bar and were able to do A la carte, which was great for those not wanting so much food. Every bite of food we had was just amazing and I cannot recommend it enough. The real standout here might have been the service, though. Oscar, the bartender, was a pleasure to chat with, but every person we encountered here was just so nice and helpful. We truly loved every second of our experience.

Extremely upset that me and my friend were turned away the evening of 8/22/24 (and to really paint a picture, a day that was flooded and stormy) because my friend was wearing a tank top. The bar AND restaurant was completely empty and we just wanted to sit in the corner and order 2 steaks, several appetizers, drinks, and dessert. We are visiting from Hawaii, which as many know, is a 12 hour flight. I could not believe that we were turned away in Florida of all places because he was wearing a lululemon tank top that costs a pretty penny. I was also wearing a tank top dress and the only difference between my friend’s shirt and my dress was that my dress went to my ankles. I honestly would not recommend going here. The host, Dave, told us this was a 5 star restaurant when it clearly states on google it is 4.6 stars. Let’s maybe calm the attitude down. Instead of spending a pretty penny here, we will happily be spending a pretty penny at the rest of the amazing and beautiful local restaurants here. God bless and good luck.

My husband and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with dinner at the Beach Bistro this past Saturday and all I can say is WOW! It was AMAZING! We enjoyed the four-course tasting on the beach during a beautiful sunset. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding! Every person we interacted with from the hostess to the bartender to the wait staff were eager to please and so enjoyable. They even put candles in our deserts and provided champagne to toast! It was a tremendous experience, and we will be back! I recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful dining experience.

I am late sharing this, I was here back in may and it’s left an impression on me because I can’t stop thinking about this experience. Our server Adam was a big part in this amazing night. I continue to dream about every course we were served, every martini, the service and the view. You will not be disappointed. GO! Ask for Adam! He is worth his weight in gold and they are lucky to have him! Also make sure you get the lobster escargot.

Dinner right on the beach! Dinner here is a 4 course pick. Food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and we had a great evening. Funny note about this restaurant, it was freezing inside, but staff are use to these comments. They brought us throw blankets! With 4 of us, we ordered an array of selections, and each one was just as fabulous as the others in our party.

never had such a big thing of seared foie in my life.
the lamb was cooked perfectly and the sauce was sweet and salty. just right
the desserts were great. chocolate tart is a must
the lobster escargot is a must as well.
the wine menu is extensive and the som is quite intelligent and a character! a good thing.
maybe a little dated on the inside but - feels warm and intimate
