We stopped in here because my fiance is from IL and loves Chicago food. It did not disappoint! He loved every bit - great ingredients, done authentically, and great atmosphere with great people. We tried the Chicago dog, the Italian beef, and the tavern pizza which were all phenomenal. We will def be back!

Had my first Italian beef sandwich and it had to be one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my life! It was over half a pound and I couldn’t help but eat the entire thing. Asked if I wanted it wet or dipped and if I wanted sweet peppers, hot peppers, or a combo. Topped with mozzarella, it was absolutely delicious! The service was outstanding also.

I really wish I could give a 5 star review. The Chicago does were authentic and full of awesomeness. The crinkle fries I looked at on the next table looked smashing. The onion rings, well the onion rings. Overdone, both on my plate and my wife’s. Meal went from hero to zero. I appreciate the love you appear to put into your sandwiches. I only wish it was carried out with the rest of the meal. I will not be returning.
