This is a place locals go. Outstanding place great people and the bartenders are the best. The food was excellent and the Guinness poor was perfect. We went a few times while on the island every time was great.

This is a good enough little pub on AMI if your looking for a casual night out but definitely not a traditional Irish Pub. Food is ok but again nothing Irish if that's what your looking for. They have live music which is good and it's got outside seating.

Samantha took good care of us last night. We were exhausted from micro management of our one story home after the two hurricanes. I was thrilled to find the Freckled fin was open! I had a delicious salad of mixed greens with grilled chicken 🍗 on top. My husband had quesadillas. We both enjoyed our drinks. Service was excellent. Do not miss this hidden Gem behind the shopping center in Holmes Beach!! They have made a quick recovery after the hurricanes! The Irish beach theme is entertaining! Their live entertainment is always great!!
Vegetarian options: Salad comes without meat. It is a great mixed green salad! Large portion which would be a nice meal! Reasonably priced!

I was only able to go here a couple times because the hurricane closed off ana maria island, but I really like this place. I brought my parents with me last time. The music was great, the service was awesome and the corned beef was amazing! I can't wait to go back. Everywhere you look people are having a good time. They have cute decor and I love you can see the bands play on the televisions so you don't have to sit close if you don't want to.

If you want to be treated like you’re a huge inconvenience and a straight up nuisance… this is your place. From the bar to the table all we experienced was pissed off servers. Bartender closed my tab without asking if I wanted anything else, bc other people sitting at the bar felt like I had waited too long to be acknowledged, so they asked if he waited on me. He quickly responded, I’m busy waiting on others! After, waiting he decided I was finished. Our adult children joined us for a late dinner but our server didn’t have any patience with us either. She brought my daughter in law straight tequila and argued with her when we said she asked for a margarita with that brand of tequila. She took mine and my husband’s order for apps and left. After, waiting on apps our adult children wanted to order but wasn’t able to until she came back with our appetizers. At that point I was done and wanted to leave. The young guy that checked us in and sat us was very pleasant and had a great sense of humor. The food is delicious too. What a cool atmosphere … too bad the staff hates their jobs.
