Super casual store front location in the Island Shopping Area off Marina Drive with indoor and sidewalk seating, take out or delivery, ample parking and open late. Has an unusually wide variety of pizza toppings, flavored crusts, and sizes including by the slice and Detroit style. In addition to pizza they serve garlic knots and bread, salads, wings, tenders, grinders(sic), variety of pastas, and desserts. For larger groups they offer a number of cost saving combination deals.
Over the years we've tried pizzas from other island establishments but for the variety, convenience, price point, and reasonable quality Pizzano's is about as good as you'll find on AMI. Note - wait times including delivery can pretty long especially in high season.
Here for vacation amazing pizza, I got the chicken bacon ranch and one of the best ones I’ve had in my life!

Very disappointed. First time there. . Grinder was good, The Detroit style pizza, the dough was not baked thru. I was a baker for 18 years, that dough was raw. Toppings looked great, pizza looked great,until you bit into it. A large, Detroit style meat lovers pizza, two bites……garbage can.
We love Pizzano’s!! This particular area was devastated by Helene and they packed up and reopened and we are so glad they did!! Wonderful pizza and the best garlic bread and garlic knots in the area!! Portions are huge and they always have specials. Would recommend if you are trying to feed lots of people!
