This is our new favorite restaurant on the island. We tried the spicy chicken kebab, hummus and baklava and the flavors were all delicious! The owners were so kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a good experience. We will be back and will recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Thank you!!

This place is a hidden gem. Food is delicious, Sammy seems genuinely interested in making sure customer has a good meal. Came here a few times this week while visiting Anna Maria island. Never had to wait in line, Sammy made everything fresh while I was there. Prices are all fair and reasonable. Hidden Gem!

Loved lunch here today!! Chef/owner Sammy let us sample things and really made us feel welcome. His food is so fresh and flavorful right down to the salad dressing and garlic sauce for the falafel. By the way, the falafel were divine!! Crispy outside and fluffy inside. Definitely not the bland hockey pucks I've had at other Bradenton eateries. Ideal island takeout for foodies.

Sammy made our first visit special. Even he didn't give such personal attention to his guests I would still come back because the food is so delicious. It's hard to find truly fresh salads with delicate housemate herb filled dressings on Ami. I was so glad to hear that they are doing custom platters. This food is perfect for sharing. For locals needing a healthy meal on a work day and visitors needing quality poolside snacks, Sammy's fills a long vacant island niche. Fresh homemade hummus is nothing like the tubs you get in the grocery store, and that's just the beginning. Foodie quality food. Don't miss it!!

Had the Greek salad and added gyro meat. It was fantastic! Sammy gave me a few samples of other things to try while waiting, and I have to say I can’t wait to go back! Grape leaves, baba ganoush, hummus, everything I tasted was seasoned perfectly and so fresh tasting! Sammy and Tracy have a wonderful restaurant in Holmes Beach!

Great local spot serving authentic Lebanese dishes. Sammy pulled together a last minute catering order for a dinner party and it was great. Everyone loved the food -- hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, rice, and his famous house salad. Highly recommend for a quick lunch, dinner, or for catering your next dinner party.

In an effort to not spend all my vacation time cooking I reached out to Sammy's kitchen to put together a mini buffet style meal for our afternoon and evening meals. Chicken Shish Tawook, Baba Ghanoush, and Gyro we're absolutely incredible and Tabouleh was the best I've ever had. Plus there were enough left overs for lunch the next day. Someone from the island highly recommended them and I can't wait to go back.

Don't let this tiny Cafefool you... its authentic and fresh! Every item we had, from the side of hummus to the fattuoush salad and chicken pita was outstanding! The chicken was seasoned & grilled to perfection and the salad was loaded with crispy veggies with an incredibly light dressing. Do not miss out on this fabulous find!!

Sammy’s is the new kid on the block, unassumingly sitting right next to another popular spot just awaiting the crowds that will inevitably be surging through their doors because their refreshing Mediterranean fare is nothing short of superb!! We are ECSTATIC to finally see some varied cuisine come to the island and although I am uncertain of the owner’s background, we are over-the-moon that most of the menu offerings are our Lebanese favorites. Luck was certainly on our side as we unknowingly arrived mere minutes prior to close and were warmly welcomed by the owners who are an absolute joy! Sammy & his lovely wife were vivacious, kind, and incredibly generous. My litmus test for Middle Eastern establishments always falls on the Falafel and Tabbouleh; Sammy’s not only did not disappoint but they excelled unlike any other! We’ve eaten falafel in venues from Savannah, Charleston, DC, to CA, WA.....Sammy’s offers the deeply golden, perfectly crisp exterior you seek but it was his exceptionally light, tender, & herbaceous interior that made us swoon- just phenomenal! The. Best. Hands. Down. (Pssst, ask for his garlic sauce instead of the tahini) We also ordered the fattoush, grape leaves, and hummus with pita; all prepared to absolute perfection. And the bonus when on vacation?: the leftovers make for a stellar breakfast, just as fresh & flavorful as the previous night! Not to be forgotten, his baklava made with pistachio is a MUST- the most tender, flavorful we’ve ever had, just beautiful! I’ll eat Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food any day but the cool, refreshing, herby-fare is exactly what we crave coming off of the hot beach. This is a no-frills, very reasonably priced, order-at-the-counter-and-take type of establishment with an extra helping of warmth offered by the owners. Carnivores and vegans alike will be happy as clams and feel MORE than satisfied with Sammy’s menu. RUN, don’t walk to this new establishment, it’s our new favorite and we cannot wait to return! What a great experience! Went for lunch and were greeted with samples of many dishes. I had the chicken and salad. My husband had lamb platter. It was all so delicious, with quality ingredients. A few days later we ordered dinner last minute for 7 adults. Sammy was so gracious giving us many choices and included dessert for free. Will be back!!!
