MASSIVELY OVERPRICED poor quality, filthy shrimp. Did not taste good. Not at all worth the premium price point. My parents were very excited to treat our family of 9 to Topsail Steamer AMI for a fun holiday meal. Our meal was a supremely disappointing. The shrimp was worst we have ever had, FROM ANYWHERE! Spend your hard-earned dollars at the local fish market instead, we would have all been much more satisfied had we gone that route. It’s really too bad. Hope this honest review will save other families the time, money, energy and effort my parents wasted on Topsail Steamer AMI. Save your money— you will be better off buying the ingredients and doing it all yourself.

Ordered this for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I can’t remember which pot we got, but I augmented it with several extra orders that went in there as well…. everything was really good. The only thing I would point out is I followed the directions carefully and if I would’ve eaten the shrimp at the time it said to do so they would’ve been extremely undercooked. It wasn’t a big deal and I just continued steaming for a few more minutes, but just fyi. Overall, I thought it was very good and I’m pretty sure I will order again sometime soon.

Food was great and the young guy at the counter was holding it together on New Years Eve with a massive line. The only complaint was with the automated text messages. With the new years rush their system was overwhelmed and got behind but everyone there got messages that their food was done. We ended up waiting 45 minutes after we got the text messages. The staff was great but depend on human staff, not computers. You want SkyNet? Because this is how you get SkyNet.

They have the best take home seafood kit and highly knowledgeable staff to help you steam quality seafood! Straight forward directions and all the layers of seafood were cooked to perfection! The low tide bucket was perfect to feed 4 (depending how much you load up on the seafood, it can potentially feed up to 6!)

We were fortunate enough to try the Shark Bite steam pot. It was absolutely amazing and worth every penny. So much fun to take home and steam. Everything was delicious. We would definitely do this again.
Ordered the build your own bucket with the following: 3lbs snow crab, 1/2 lb kielbasa, 2 dozen littleneck clams, 1lb peel and eat shrimp and Jimmy's way seasoning.
I cooked everything based on the instructions.
The seasoning was perfect. Just enough spiciness and flavorful throughout. The potatoes and corn soaked up all the flavor and were excellent. The shrimp was good but a little annoying to peel and had to devein. The clams were great but were a bit small. The crab tasted really good but seemed to not have a lot of meat. The kielbasa was awesome! I really enjoyed the flavor of it.
Overall, I think this was worth the buy for the 3 of us eating but would want/do the following:
1. Pull out the crab and clams as well prior to cooking for 40 minutes. This way it retained more moisture. 2. It would be nice to have claws included/purchased for crab to crack the shells.
Everything else was an excellent experience and would do this again.

THIS PLACE IS A MUST TRY!!! My husband and I are visiting Anna Maria for the first time to celebrate our son’s first birthday. Because of his bedtime it’s challenging to go out to restaurants so this was the perfect option for us to still have a fun dinner experience at home (you pick up the seafood pot, and then steam it at home in just 40 minutes!) they give you everything you need we just popped it on the stove. We LOVE seafood and this tasted absolutely DELICIOUS!
Nick, the gentleman who works there was extremely helpful and made great recommendations! Jimmy's seasoning is the way to go! Can’t wait to go back!

We just had our first steamer bucket, it was absolutely amazing. Cooked perfectly.
They accidently messed up our order and only gave us a 1/2 pound of crab legs instead of the 1 1/2 pounds we ordered, but I called and went back and they immediately apologized filled our order correctly and threw in an extra cluster for the inconvenience. We will definitely be ordering again. Very kind staff and again the food was just perfect.

Google review is a bit weird with this. There is no dine in. They provide raw food, bucket, and seasoning. Add water and steam yourself.
