Have been looking forward to eating at this place for 3 years and just haven't been, called today to order take out and they were charging me 18% gratuity on TAKE OUT, refused to remove charge explaining someone had to answer phone and check order was ok so they charge gratuity, that's the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a long time and a shame as they lost my business and any future business over ridiculous charge, I really wanted to try their burgers but we went elsewhere, if we had eaten in I'd have had no issue but that's crazy

The food is incredible! Homestead does not have a huge variety even, it comes to places to eat but Chefs on the Run is a true hidden gem. It is kind of hidden and tucked away right off of Krome Ave, Mowry! if you aren't looking for it, you might miss it. I highly recommend giving them a try! They have a great menu, and the prices are good for the quality of food that they serve. Looking forward to going back!

Great place to stop between Miami and the keys. Food was fantastic in this five table joint. Eclectic selection of dishes with a Puerto Rican flair.The Grilled Cheese Burger was fantastic and the mofongo with pork and bone broth was enjoyed by all.Dessert was the Key Lime Empanada. Very tasty and so different than key lime pie.

Visiting from Colorado and found this gem. Tiny dining area but totally worth the wait. Here with our teenage kids and we ate the heck out of the menu. The habanero chicken and the queso and oink fries were amazing. The grilled cheese burger was over the top good. Chino Taino Mafungo was delish! Excellent service and so welcoming! Thanks for kicking our week off perfectly!!

I would love to give this 5 stars because it's adorable and the food was delicious. The portions were large and the price was decent. Friendly staff. My complaint isn't the food. My only issue is the drink. I asked our waitress (who I think was training) if the Sangria had chunks of fruit in it and she said yes, so I ordered. While it was yummy, it was only wine, which I would have skipped. Otherwise an outstanding meal in a small venue.

Amazing burgers and amazing food this little place is such a Jem it's a great local place
We absolutely loved this restaurant. It's a little hole in the wall and it was great. The service was fantastic and very quick. The food was top tier. It's been a while since either my husband or I have had a burger and we were pleased with how well they were made. I would say out of the two my favorite was the brunch burger.

I had the lunch special Bori Philly (Jessica's favorite) and it was probably the best Sanguiche I ever had.
Highly highly recommend this place!! The flavors are out of this world good, the chefs are knowledgeable, passionate and inventive, the service was excellent!! Only 5 tables and honestly it’s perfect. Vegan and vegetarian options, 10/10. Do yourself a favor, eat here.Vegetarian options: 4-5 things are vegetarian, vegan options available! I hesitate in messing up the Freddie Wong analysis of ethnic cuisines, restaurants, and star rating on here. But. The food here is phenomenal, the service is spectacular, and the atmosphere is quite cozy. I would highly recommend to anyone!
