We were served by Yanelys, it was a pleasure for her wonderful service. The owner Elso was very friendly, he sat at our table and it was very pleasant, remembering our roots, the restaurant serves delicious Cuban food, including pork sandwiches, roast pork and tamales.

There is NO lechon here. It is totally misleading. Apparently, the Department of Health does not permit them to have whole pig and they only have a piece sometimes to go with plates. They do not sell by the piece or pound. What they serve is BBQ, in the Brazilian style. The place is an open area with tables that you can share with the flies.

It was late night on a Saturday, I was looking for Nicaraguan food but everything near would be closed by 9:30. That is how I ended up at El Rey del Lechon. Looking for something else, I noticed this spot, and best if all, it has a Nicaraguan food truck, and the food was AMAZING!!! the service was also incredible! and they were very attentive, so I will definitely go again 😀
