Great little place that's sells grilled gator (and some other meats) food is very good and tasty.

Good place to have a bite. There is not much near the Park. Robert is Here has good smoothies and milk shakes. Everglades Gator Grill has good protein--loved my fresh grilled Mahi sandwich. Hubby liked the gator bites. Friendly, good service. Clean. Eat in at counter outside in tiki hut. Compares well to other spots in Florida City and Homestead.

Down there for business from NY this past Monday, saw online and had to go try it out. Great cozy place, real friendly people, excellent food. Of course we had the gator, tender and juicy, great dipping sauce. Great fries with perfect seasoning, great home made slaw.

The Food are really fresh. I try the burger and the Philly steak and cheese and both are delicious. The atmosphere is nice and peaceful, watching the tomatoes plantations.

We were pleasantly surprised to find we like gator! The staff was great and seating outdoors was nice!

We tried crocodile meat and frog legs for the first time, and both were surprisingly good! The food came out quickly, the portions were just right, and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. A fun spot if you’re in the mood for something different.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. First - the food is excellent and made with care. I mean that - they CARE and they will work to make it right. Also, the things they serve are unique. It’s not the mass-produced frozen product many roadside places have. You want gator? They have gator, and they want you to taste it. The right way. Not as a “chicken substitute” or whatever.

Second, the customer service is way beyond expectations. I can’t tell the whole story, but what these folks did for me was above and beyond.

Third, their story is inspirational. If it’s quiet and there’s time to chat, go ahead and ask what “24” means.

It’s SO rare to find a place like this. If you’re nearby, it’s worth a stop or even a diversion.

Note: they’ve made a very comfortable outdoor area, but the AC area has very limited seating. Go anyway. You’re in the Everglades. You’re an explorer. Explore.

Gator bites were to die for. It’s a great place to stop on your way to the Everglades farm. You can’t go wrong. Me and my fiance will come again soon!
