Staff was super nice.Restaurant is nicely decored and clean.The house salsa had fantastic taste and the slightest kick which was delicious.The mexican waters were okay, definitely not the best I've had.the choriqueso was okay -they use melted stringy cheese so once it cools it's thick and hard to enjoy.the chorizo sandwich wasn't enjoyed by the person who ordered it.the tacos were okay, very standard, nothing special or remarkable to warrant a return.
It was good for being a taco spot .Meat was tasty .The asada had flavor and juicy .The carnita tasted good had that pork marinate which complimented the tortilla very well. I’m late posting this review, and I apologize. We took the Harley for a ride from Fort Myers to Homestead with the intentions of eating at Fonda Familiar.We arrived at the restaurant, ready to eat. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
