The truth is, the customer service on the phone at this place was very unpleasant, I called and they hung up the phone in my face, I do not recommend this place, very bad customer service.

I used to enjoy having dinner at Havana Spice. Last night we went for dinner the service was horrible and the food was not same. I’m going to assume it’s was a different cook. I used to love going there for their cappuccino and last night’s meal overall was depressing. The presentation was not impressive and the server was not a friendly, didn’t come to check on us. Very disappointed.

Everything about this place was delightful. We enjoyed it so much that we came back on the last night of our stay and ordered almost the same food we had the first time. Havana sampler was a great introduction to the place and vaca frita was our family's favorite. Was it the best in town? I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Sandwiches had very little flavor and were dry and had zero toppings. Cuban sandwich didn't even have pickles on it. Not sure if it was a new chef or what was going on. Fries were super cold, too, despite arriving right when the order was ready. Outdoor atmosphere seemed okay but wouldn't return.

Stopped in here for a late lunch on our way to key west last month and had some really good chicken fajitas with a Cuban flare. Nice outdoor patio for sitting and really good and attentive staff. Be careful with Cuban coffee if you are unfamiliar as we were as that a lot of sugar.

Gave the restaurant a 3rd try because theres not many cuban restaurants in homestead. Expensive and horrible!!! Never again! Rather drive 30 minutes to La Carreta.

Awesome place to dine, friendly service, great food with great portion sizes. Prices are reasonable too. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

The food was delicious and generous portions. We had the pan con lechón and the Havana sandwich. They were both delicious.

I could’ve powered my van back to our Airbnb just from my a$$. Tourist trap with ridiculous prices. We ordered the Cubano sandwiches since they were the only thing decently priced. They gave us mustard and Mayo packets on the side. We think the cubans from Wawa tasted better than this. Not to mention my husband and I being sick the entire rest of the night. My to-go box went right in the trash.
