We were excited to walk into this small, very authentic-looking restaurant. There was a hesitation as we were seated, and then the music suddenly blasted painfully. We couldn't hear ourselves think, and got the distinct impression that gringas, even very adventurous gringas, were not welcome in this local eatery. We definitely felt that the music was blasted to drive us out. We won't go there again!

Ordered the Churrasco Steak and it was flank meat , very thin and chewy . Never churrasco . It was like the meat you get that's not USDA RATED at some no name meat market. Had only two bites. We did not complain. Just left it on the plate and requested the check. The waitress asked if something was wrong with the churrasco so that the cook could be informed because they want to go forward in their business. None the less we where charged for the full meal. Never again. The music was also so load we couldn't hear ourselves conversating.

What a great find! A little hole in the wall, you wouldn't think much from it by the exterior-- the restaurant is in a strip mall with a good amount of parking. The inside is decorated with Mexican art and cute wooden tables and chairs. The menu is small but the perfect amount of variety. We chose carnes asada tacos and a chicken taco, and wow! The tortillas are definitely home made- and the tacos are overfilled and absolutely delicious! I also ordered their special- "Los 3 huastecas" which is a fajitas dish that includes steak, chicken and shrimp cooked with peppers, onions and cheese--sizzling and cooked to perfection! This dish comes with rice, beans (frijoles charros- spicy and incredible) and a side salad. The seasoning was on point and one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever tried, hands down! Every other order that passed by, looked and smelled incredible as well- I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the whole fish meal. We ordered a margarita and it was ok, nothing out of this world but did the job. Also ordered a michela and it was as authentic and delicious as it comes! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant - you will not be disappointed!
