A little spot that makes an effort with good food, colorful decor and friendly service! There is indoor and outdoor seating; also a fairly large parking lot and street parking. We ate at a quiet time of the afternoon and had the place to ourselves. We ordered two fresh juices (guanabana and passionfruit) that were tasty, huge and cheap ($2.50!). We ordered picadillo that was simple but very tasty (with whole green olives—yumm!), and a grilled chicken plate. The chicken had a delicious marinade. We shared sides of tostones, platanos maduros, and black beans— all were delicious. Our server, Aris, was super sweet and patient with us excitable Cuban-food-loving Northerners—thank you, Aris! The interior was basic but clean, as was the restroom. Definitely worth a visit for some hearty home-style Cuban fare next time you’re in the area. We were out of luck with guava pastries by that time of the day, sadly—go earlier if you want one, or three. ?

Vaca frita is crunchy and ropa vieja is juicy. Both are very delicious. The atmosphere is authentic and the service is very fast. I wanted to go to a bakery for pastelito but surprisingly they also had it. This restaurant was the best option for us on a rainy day which we did not need to drive long distance to Miami.

Best 8oz burger I've ever had for $8. Juicy, flavorful, and it comes with fries even though it doesn't say on the menu!!!Parking: About 15 spots right in front of the restaurant.

Had a fantastic breakfast here. The Honduran breakfast was amazing -- incredible smoky refried beans, perfectly seasoned eggs, homemade tortillas. Husband got a fresh mango juice (huge glass for $2.50) and it was delicious -- and I appreciate that they asked him whether he wanted sugar in it or not. My cafe con leche was spot on too. This is a hole in the wall next to a bus station so don't expect atmosphere. But we left full and happy and the prices are super reasonable!

We stopped here for a quick bite on our way to the Keys. All we had to do was go north on US 1 from the turnpike for about a mile instead of south and man are we glad we did! So delicious and accommodating! We both had the 2 egg breakfast which included potatoes, toast and your choice of ham, bacon or sausage (well my husband had two of them lol) and I asked mine to be pressed on Cuban bread. It couldn't have been more perfect. Yes it's a little hole in the wall, but it is clean and the outside patio is very nice. Also, it was a $6 breakfast! Holy cow!

Tasty sandwiches if you are looking for a quick spot and awesome little hole in the wall! Service was great and Cuban espresso was amazing too!

Actually I tried this restaurant for the first time. I only went because of the reviews it received. I have passed in front of this location so many times I lost count and I would want to go in. It was the traditional little hole in the wall restaurant. Inside was counter only and very small. Isn't that the best places and I said the reviews can't be wrong. I'm glad I did. I had breakfast there and had the 3 egg omelet w/ mushrooms ham and cheese, toast and cafe con leche. I was very surprised as it was cooked the way I like it and everything was just right. The service was very attentive and good. I will be back
