There food tastes different depending on which one your going to do I wouldn't try it but at the same time try it 😅

I visited on 07/26/25 and ordered a 1/4 chicken meal-dark meat, rice & beans...my meal was good. 07/27/25, I wanted to try the Quesadilla wrap so I ordered it with a large chicken soup..the outside of the container of what the soup was in was so dirty, it had a dried piece of something stuck on the side of it, I was soo disgusted that I could not eat it. I normally visit this location, now I have mixed feeling about it, I may not return.

I like the chicken soup here. The half chicken is also a great choice.
I went through the drive-thru and brought a whole chicken dinner home for the family. The cost was about $22. There were four pieces of chicken -two legs and two breast pieces with the wing. The two legs were edible but a little dry. The two breast pieces were inedible. Sauce would not have helped at all. We could not cut them and we could not even bite them. THEY WERE INEDIBLE!! They went to the trash and half my family had to eat something else. I remember when Pollo tropical was so good we looked forward to going and eating the juicy warm chicken. Those times are gone! You have lost a good customer! You gave a person in the drive-thru a chicken that had been sitting under the lights for days probably. It was harder than wood! Shame on you! In addition to that, the portion of beans was supposed to be for a family and there was maybe one portion of actual beans in the container. The rest was very thin juice. Shame on you again!

I mean.. just look at the reviews. We’re all experiencing the same POOR, unprofessional customer service from this location. At this point, they should either hire an entire new team with basic customer service training or just shut it down. Every time we come here, there is an issue. Whether we order in the drive thru and they miss items in the bag or we order for pick up and end up having to sit and wait 15 min there AFTER the given “pick up time.” The manager is rude and doesn’t even let you finish your sentence before cutting you off if you are missing items. I think this was the last straw— no more Pollo Tropical for me! Smh
