Always a great time and must visit when I'm that part of Florida! Mike one of the employees was so helpful and knowledgeable about the produce! Appreciate him for sure! He's a keeper!
Excellent fresh guac, milkshakes, smoothies, and a variety of fun fruits!
Super fun location, loved the boiled peanuts and milkshake. A must stop if you’re visiting the national park or are in the area.
This place is not for everyone. I personally hated it.
The market is ok, has a wide variety of fruit but it’s smelly and dirty. But the rest of it is little more than a junk yard: everything from the dirty, old, broken kids bikes laying around to the various pieces of old farm junk hobbled together as some sort of weird attraction, to the animals that have been thrown in together to share that same space whether they like it or not and to the beautiful tropical birds that have been imprisoned in that filthy cage and spend the day crying and shrieking constantly - all of it feels like a sad roadshow abusing your senses.
Oh, and the famous Guanabana milkshake is really weird and kinda sickening. Might as well drink a pint of heavy cream with a banana slice on top.
Wonderful, fun for everyone. Amazing milkshakes and animals were fun to watch
This is an awesome place to find tropical fruit. Saw a flier at the fruit and spice park so figured it was worth a stop. Ended up stopping multiple times on our short vacation. They have a great selection and are more than happy to help with any questions. My kids were so excited they had miracle berries. I loved the guanabana and passion fruit. Wish I lived closer.
Stopped by this place passing through as I found it on Atlas Obscura. It has some long history- back to 1959.
I read that it was popular to try their shakes/smoothies and to expect a line. While we didn’t have a line, I thought the kids working the shake counter weren’t the friendliest unfortunately, and they weren’t able to combined any of my top flavors I wanted because of the machine restrictions. And I didn’t end up liking my smoothie, but my husband’s shake was good (go for the shake!). The other people working were friendly though!
They had some fun unique fruits, although they were pretty pricey - $10 for a baseball-sized piece of guananbana.
Overall I didn’t think the place was worth going out of your way for unless you can’t find guanabana anywhere else (it is pretty good) or if you have kids that you want to take to the petting zoo outback
Great selection . Fun place to explore all they have. Worth the trip.
Thank you Robert, always a pleasure to stop in and see the coolest place in Homestead!
This fruit stand has it all. Fresh produce, live plants (including orchids), a food truck, freshly made salsas, a smoothie/shake stand....and more. There were signs for fresh honey, sea sponges, and also a wall of jams.

Enjoyed lunch while watching the animals at the petting zoo!! Picked up a water coconut, starfruit, and fresh guacamole....must visit while down in South Florida!!!
Pricey
Too slow! Took around 15 mins in line to order, and then to get just 1 smoothie, had to wait another 35-40 mins. If they would have told it'd take this much, I would have skipped altogether!
So good fruits
Robert is AWESOME! Enough said, right?!?
Well I just have to elaborate. I'm a United States Army Airborne Veteran, injured on active duty thus use a wheelchair to get around. But I never let that stop me... today was an amazing day! Upon arrival at Robert Is Here, the parking lot was completely full and it was only the overflow area which had parking available, but it was not handicap accessible, so I called and spoke to the nice person on the phone who ended up putting Robert on the phone with me, LOL. I told him where I was parked and he said, I will be right out to help you park. He had me back up and put me in an employee area where I was very near the beautiful Pavilion where I can absolutely use my wheelchair to get around the whole place. Thank you Robert! I will be sure to stop again, every time I go in and out of the Florida Keys.
Here is a pic where Robert parked me. Thanks again!
