Offered several appetizers and main vegan dishes. Came back for a second visit today, but H.C. Is only letting me edit my first review. I had the curry vegetables and tofu this time. It was delicious. She let me have just a taste of her spicy slaw. I appreciated it. It was too spicy for me, but my husband enjoyed it.

Definitely a hole in the wall, but it’s such a treat. The owners are so welcoming and lovely. I always take out of town-ers here and they love it. The jerk tofu is so good, definitely spicy. The curry is great as well. Plenty of vegan options.

Home cooking at its finest! Had the jerk chicken combo – awesome. Tiny spot on busy Krome Ave, but when you go inside you forget about where you are and feel like you’re in a local shack in the Caribbean! A must visit.

Excellent food , very tasty and generous portions . Very reasonably priced . I got the “Ya man jerk chicken” and the chicken was juicy , tender and delicious . The rice with peas had a nice heat to and flavor . Definitely recommend , good home made food .

The owners obviously care a lot about their food and service, making sure to get everything fresh, and giving great suggestions when you don’t know exactly what to order. The curry goat is excellent, highly recommend. Come for a relaxed experience and expect fun conversations with the owners.

This use too be one of my favorite Caribbean Restaurants but my last few times they have been missing on the flavor and taste. This time we got some old empanadas that was hard and dry. You spend $50 at a restaurant you want your food to be fresh. We going to have to take another time out from them.
Vegetarian options: We always order Vegetarian Legume with Veggie Empanadas.
