Due to Covid, a few weeks before our wedding we lost the services of the company providing our wedding cake. After our initial panic. we were referred to Cakes by Pink. Due to my fiancés work schedule and the limted planning time, the owner, Carolyn agreed to come to pur home on Sunday for us to sample different cakes andicings. She came fully prepared with a wonderful assortment.Then after discussing our wedding colors and ideas for cake decorating, she provided options for us to choose. I can truly say the finished product was delicious, beautiful and elegant. Thank you Carolyn for all you did to make our day even more special!

At first she seems professional and very nice. When she arrived at my wedding she showed up with a cake that was no where near what I asked for. It was a sad excuse for poorly placed fondant. The back of the cake was not finished and had a huge seam on it and the top was sinking! The only thing she got somewhat right was the color we asked for. When I asked her why the cake was not finished she sayed "oh no one will see that it's in the back of the cake!" Also the cake was very dry and know where near the cake she presented us at tasting. She was very unprofessional and very rude with my wedding coordinator and guests. She is now blacklisted from the venue we had our wedding at! We were devastated! See the pictures! I forgot to mention she broke our wedding topper!8

We used Cakes by Pink for our wedding cake and the grooms cake we had at our rehearsal dinner. Carolyn was absolutely wonderful. She came to our home to do a tasting which was very convenient. We had her key lime cheesecake at our rehearsal dinner which our guests raved about. The raspberry swirl and white chocolate wedding cake flavors were also amazing! She was very easy to work with and was very responsive to any questions. We definitely plan on using Carolyn for future events!!

Tried to call to set up an appointment to do a tasting, and she doesn't do weekends and also she said she was too busy and wouldn't meet me as she has other clients and i was too far for but i was willing to travel.
