The 1st time I went there alone. I saw they had a Jeep and Bike event. I filled out a ticket to win a prize and I won a free kayak. My boyfriend hadn't been there, so we ate a great meal and saw a live band playing. Some people he knew from past workmates waived us to come to their table. That made us feel even more welcomed. ☺️

Food is good a little pricey. Brisket dry. Staff great except manager and owner! If you’re going to sit outside sit under the tent. They have a large industrial fan but it’s only for those sitting in the back corner and about 1/8 of the whole crowd. Disappointing!
Apparent by the owners response they have their select group of “regulars”……..and could really care less about anyone else! Further proving the point.

This was honestly really gross.... It wasn't inedible but everything was dry and off. The cornbread takes like pancake batter, the pulled pork was so dry and you get less than an ounce of BBQ sauce to try and fix the problem. The baked beans were straight out of a can. The loaded baked potato was the only thing that could not be eaten just straight mayo and salad bacon. I'm disappointed more than mad. The Mac was watery and the pasta was soft... I liked the corn nuggets?? But it's the price too, if this was half the price it would make sense but ugh avoid here. It's a shame the customer service was amazing at the front. Will not return and will not recommend.

Avoid this place at all costs. They give you enough barbecue for one bite to use on an entire meal, The beans are straight from a can, and the ice cream bars are close to $5 a piece. Corn bread tastes like raw pancake batter. Next time I will buy the ingredients myself, hire a professional chef to cook it and still pay less.

Stopped in here with my husband for a quick lunch. We had high hopes going in since this place had been recommended to us by several people. My only guess is that the live music on the weekends is what keeps this place going because our experience did not match the rave reviews we've heard. Although the staff members we encountered were friendly, the food was awful. It lacked flavor and the meat was definitely not freshly smoked. My first clue should have been that there was no smell of smoked meat when we pulled up into the empty parking lot. No amount of seasoning or sauces on the table could help the blandness of the meat or sides. The coleslaw that I was served tasted moldy and foul. My husband took a bite and immediately spit it out. We will definitely not be returning here.
Update to review: After reviewing the response to my original review as well as the responses to multiple other reviews that echoed the same problems that I pointed out, it is clear that this establishment cannot take any criticism and has no desire to correct the problems. The coleslaw I received definitely was either moldy or foul. It was completely inedible. The pork was dry and tasteless. If this establishment can't accept criticism and try to improve the product that is being served to customers when there is an pattern of complaints then it should tell you that this place is not worth spending your money on.

Steam table pork on the lunch special. Unseasoned to boot. The potato salad was bland, same for the coleslaw. I'm glad I didn't pay for the upgrade to french fries because when fries are an upgraded side the bar has been set exceptionally low. Lunch for 2, $29 bucks after a tip. What a waste. - Updating after the reply from the owner - How on earth can one smoke pork and it not have any smoke flavor? Sauces should compliment good BBQ not make up for it. Lowering the service to 1 star, this is literally a serve yourself joint anyways.

We went for George Valentine show and had a pretty nice time. Plenty of outdoor seating and indoor. Food was decent. The ribs I am not a fan of, dry and has lots of weird cartridge type things in it. All the stuff was very friendly.
We have BBQ closer to home, but we drive the extra couple miles to get it from here.

I just moved here to Hudson and this was on the list of restaurants close by. So I just finished eating the pulled pork sandwich which took a long time. So much meat! I had never seen that much meat on any sandwich! You definitely get your money's worth 😊

Had one of the most favored bands in the area in outdoor area. 8 ft enclosure and only one fan and they insist on facing it in one enclosure with 2 tables. Return of us roasted in the heat. Owner said that is their policy. I said he needs to buy more fans and he got mad and refused to answer. Totally acted like he would not spend the money. IT'S FREAKING JULY....GO TO HARBOR FREIGHT AND BUY A FEW FANS DAMN IT !!!
