I’m a Mexican, I have to admit this place has a real Mexican taste; there are minor things I would modify to compliment but overall it’s not bad at all. Lots of food, money well spent. I definitely recommend this place.
So we went to El Mezcal for the first time to celebrate Father's Day this past June 2025. The food was absolutely perfect! Rice and beans were the best ever. We now have been there several times since and great everytime. Very impressed! But what made it extra special and welcoming was Antonio! He has got to be the best server we have ever experienced. Outside of being very good at his job he just makes you feel good. His smile and personality is warm and welcoming....
The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were nice. The food was not great. The refried beans were very dry and couldn't taste any seasoning typical of a well cooked refried beans. The cheese enchilada cheese wasn't even melted. The sauce over the enchilada taste like ketchup but diluted. Maybe other offered dishes could be better but these two dishes were very dissapointing.
