We went to Sam’s Beach Bar today and I got the Grouper Fingers basket. It was excellent! 5 large fingers with very crispy breading. It was so good my husband decided to order the same thing to go for his dinner. I opened up his container and was shocked. 2 small fingers with mushy white meat and instead of a crispy breading it looked like it was battered. Neither the breading nor the meat tasted the same. Very disappointed. I love Sam’s Beach bar but I will have a hard time getting my husband to go back.

Worst service ever. I wouldn’t recommend it. Allowed people to change table which impacted others to get service. Staff was rude and combative. Couldn’t care less about customers. I will not be giving them my money again and would not recommend it to anyone else!

1st time I got the ultimate seafood it was worth the 45.00$ market price. the second time was ok. went yesterday was charged 50.00
the crab was dry potatoes old n 1/4 the size. the corn lol 1/8 the size very little sausage. muscles were the size you get in publix freezer. the snow crab was dry n would not even come out of the crab. this was the last time I will go back. service was acceptable. Fish n chips for my mother, she said was great. clam strips were nothing more than regular clam straps. save your money go somewhere else. they are over rated

We waited approximately 20-25 minutes until we got in touch with someone who sent a waitress to our table, my friend had to track someone to change her drink order. We then waited another 20 some minutes for our meal and at least that long for our check. You were Not extremely busy at that time! I love your location and have been bringing out of town guests there several times a year,or more often. I'm sorry to say that I will not be back until I hear that you have improved your service!

Was about to walk out when my food came. Took forever. Mahi Mahi tacos were cold, the fish was tough. The beans were ok.
Waiter said they could fix another plate. By then I was ready to go home. I was tired and hungry.
I should not have taken the food home to warm it up. Thought I could soften the fish, but couldn't and the tortillas were soggy. Wasted $21 dollars.

Fantastic location and views. Big inviting open spacious patio on the water. Food was serviceable, nothing to write home about. Ordered a fried grouper sandwich with a side of seasoned fries. Nice huge serving of fried grouper on a good sized tasty toasted brioche bun but not much seasoning on either the grouper or the fries...pretty bland. Not terrible but not that impressive either. Service was quite bad. I was there alone and I understand single customers aren't as alluring to servers as big parties of people however... Hostess seated me promptly. Was seated for 5-10 minutes on the patio before another server noticed me, asked if I'd been waited on yet then went to fetch my server, a pleasant enough woman but inattentive. She took my drink and lunch order, brought me both in a fairly reasonable amount of time then disappeared for about 20-30 min. The next time she showed up, I was done eating, my drink was empty and I was sitting there waiting patiently looking around for her. Not good. Not the worst experience I've had but disappointing to be sure.
