Although we'd heard mixed reviews about this establishment, we decided to give it a try this morning because we needed to go to our favorite store, Coastal Furniture, next door. There were no signs when we entered about seating yourself or waiting, so we asked. We then had to give our drink order to the young girl 3 times. After some time, the server came around and took orders and this was not done by who had been waiting the longest. It took a ridiculously long time for our egg BLT's to come out. They were only lightly toasted with entirely too much mayo on them. We also needed more napkins, but our server never came back until it was time to pay the bill. She then loudly asked if we wanted to add a tip, to which I replied yes. Even louder, she asked how much. By this time, I'm annoyed and reply that I don't know yet, but my husband just throws out $5. She leaves and comes back, only then explaining that she has to Key in the tip at the same time as she does the transaction or some nonsense that she should've stated to us prior to her loudly inquiring about a tip. I will add at this time that she spoke uncomfortably and noticeably loud throughout our entire time in this establishment. We did learn later that this individual suffers from hearing loss. My husband and I do as well. This made for a less than desirable dining experience due to the constant loud talking of this person. Add in the wait, and mediocrity of the food, you're better off dining elsewhere.

The place was super clean and friendly staff.Ordered the omelet and was asked if we wanted cheese - of course! Ya'll, it came with plastic cheese. The fake cheese. Cut in half, placed on top. ?. The eggs also tasted like it came prescrambeled in a box versus fresh and cracked.The BLT had the thinnest egg on it that I'd ever seen. You'd think an over easy egg would be oozing out (yum). Nope. Not enough yolk to even ooze out, lol. Had two super think slices of tomato to make it appear to be "larger."

I have ate here many times and today was the busiest I have ever seen it. With that being said we sat at an unclean table as there were several not cleaned so we picked one and I personally cleaned it up and had it ready for the waitress to just pick up just to be helpful and speed things up a tad, the waitress came and was appreciative and said she’d be back to wipe it down and take our order. never came back. We waited 10 minutes and so we finally left….Clearly no longer organized and not enough waitresses for the demand of people.Kid-friendliness: I would say NOT kid friendly. We had our granddaughter with us and I sure didn’t get warm and fuzzy vibes.
