We got together for a quick bite before hitting the slots, though there were a ton of people they were able to seat our party of 6 quite fast! Service was great! Food portions were large!!! Very affordable especially considering location the open face turkey was phenomenal!! Fries were soo good we could eat those alone..definitely plan on coming back!! Highly recommend!!!

Great experience at 1st Deli. We had a party of six and the server was with us immediately. Had an opportunity to meet the manager Franklin, who was awesome & made us feel like old friends. We all had something different on the menu and all agreed the food was excellent. (My sandwich was huge and delicious). Five stars from us ! We will be back.

Came in for lunch and we had Beatrice as our server, and she was training another server. She quickly took our drink orders and recommended an Arnold Palmer when I asked about flavored teas. I love an Arnold Palmer! We got the Potato latkes, amazing. Then the half sandwich with soup or salad. I had the pumpernickel bread with Turkey and the chili, it was very good. Service was awesome! Will definitely be my go to place for any future casino visits.

Pretty good for a small place in the casino, prices were resonable.

Awful service, terrible management and long wait for nothing. The place should be shut down.Blamed not being able to box our food to go on lack of staff?

If I had a choice I would never eat here. Everything is made weeks ahead of time. Nothing is fresh. I've seen cook scrape mold off the top of food and serve it. Soups stay on the steam well ALL DAY. they are suppose to be swapped out after 4 hrs or you can get sick eating it. When the health inspector comes they all run around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to label and throw stuff away that's old. But I guess it fits in where it's at.

My wife and I enjoy the 1st. Street Deli. We usually take out the bagel and lox special after we finish a seated dining. This time for some reason the hamburger my wife ordered didn’t smell right to her. I called the waiter over and said we wish to order the bagel and lox entree. I said that I will take my wife’s hamburger home. The waiter stated that every customer can only order one entree, one appetizer and one desert. So I said give me the bagel and lox entree to take out figuring maybe we can eat in our car. The waiter stated again there are no more take out orders. We were shocked and now felt loxed out. Well let us eat cake so my wife ordered her permitted chocolate cake desert. Please tell me this one appetizer, one entree and one desert per customer is not true? There goes my creating a two appetizer meal as I sometimes do. We like the food but this new “requirement “ needs to be axed.

Really the only NYC type deli I've visited since moving to Florida. Authentic pastrami sandwiches as well as a host of other items. Yes it is a bit pricey but keep in mind your in a casino and most people are paying using their comp points. If you're gaming in the complex it's a great place for lunch.

So overall food was ok. Quick casual place with some decent options. Pretty empty but was a weekday. Staff was nice but seemed to have many standing around. Something that stood out was the Mayo is left out on the tables. Not really a good practice unless the put them bottles up every few hours which I doubt. Seems a little lazy and if that’s ok to do what else aren’t we seeing.

I love New York City pastrami. It is almost impossible to find in Southwest Florida. The "1st Street Deli" sells itself as a "New York City Deli" and in my opinion it does a pretty darn good job. It is a little bit out of the way and you have to walk through a very smoky casino but it is well worth the effort.

Pricey meals. The portions were average. There were plenty of helpful staff. Reminds you of the old diners. A good place to eat breakfast or lunch if you want to stay at the casino.
