My wife and I enjoy the 1st. Street Deli. We usually take out the bagel and lox special after we finish a seated dining. This time for some reason the hamburger my wife ordered didn’t smell right to her. I called the waiter over and said we wish to order the bagel and lox entree. I said that I will take my wife’s hamburger home. The waiter stated that every customer can only order one entree, one appetizer and one desert. I love New York City pastrami. It is almost impossible to find in Southwest Florida. The "1st Street Deli" sells itself as a "New York City Deli" and in my opinion it does a pretty darn good job. It is a little bit out of the way and you have to walk through a very smoky casino but it is well worth the effort.
Pricey meals. The portions were average. There were plenty of helpful staff. Reminds you of the old diners. A good place to eat breakfast or lunch if you want to stay at the casino.
