This place has a sweet setting right on the beach. Parking is a challenge and is now done with a valet in a very small lot. We have had mixed results dining at BB’s. Some food has been well-prepared, and some has been undercooked and underseasoned. Some drinks have been good and others could have been better. Someone never checking on us after the food arrived makes it tough to point out the short-comings. This is what occurred during our most recent visit. My feeling is that for the prices they are charging, these things should not occur.

You pay for the view. We visited this place on Saturday night, which is busier than usual, of course. They told us the waiting time was an hour but it took less, which was positive. However, the food is not enjoyable and the portions are ridiculous. At least what we got. The service is ok. If you go only for drinks you will have a good time. I won’t visit again, sad to say it was disappointing. We had chicken wings, grilled octopus and chocolate cake.

Sorry. This was not a good visit. We were excited for our first visit to the Beach Bar. We even got lucky and got a 2 top on the upper deck beach side. Then we found out there was no more shrimp. 1 pm on a Saturday? Totally unacceptable! But we recovered and ordered something else. We also asked for a second round of Bloody Mary’s . Our food came and server never approached the table. We finished our food and then the server shows up (20+ min) with the bloody Mary’s. We said no just bring us our check. When she arrived for checkout she said they ran out of Bloody Mary mix. What? Seriously. I said you should have came and let us know! Not what we expected at all for a 4.6 rating and also rated high on Travelocity. The great time we hoped for was a bust. Try to do a better job at ordering for the weekend guys!!

We have been here before and really love the location. It’s always busy but today in January the cooler weather I ordered an Irish coffee it came Luke warm. I asked for it to be reheated but they could not, as they didn’t even have a microwave. Note to self not a place to get a coffee.

Great atmosphere, terrible food. Everything tastes like it was right off the sysco truck. I doubt they make a single thing in-house. The cocktails are all sugary things with no complexity. And the food received was inaccurate compared to the menu description.

Without many Beach front dining properties, I had high hopes for BB’s Beach Bar.
Parking is minimal and feels intrusive to guests. The bathroom is located IN the resort which is a ways away but clean.
The service was slow, and on a busy day I would understand, there were only 2 other tables and 3 people at the bar. Not very friendly either but our orders were correct.
Their happy hour was very reasonable and we all had wine, beer and champagne.
The view is stunning! Even on a cloudy day it was beautiful. The sounds of the waves, the breeze of the ocean, and the restaurant has just enough of an enclosure to keep your comfortable. THIS is why this place will continue to operate because the food was just terrible!
The oysters tasted fresh and had a large amount of saltines and sauces served with them, but I found shells in every oyster. They were shucked without care.
The chicken was dry and so thin it tasted like cardboard.
The tacos were covered in sauce that obviously came from a bottle and the shrimp were far from “blackened”
The burger was dry as a bone! Served with chips and not fries.
The feat mousse dip tasted like it was from a can opened days prior, with bland veggies but the pita was soft and warm. (The pita was the only decent thing at our table)
If you are looking for a great view but hate yourself enough to spend lots of money on inedible food.. well, this place is for you!
Otherwise, make a visit, have a beer, enjoy the view and leave.
If you want even a mediocre meal, this is NOT the place.
The food is really good, atmosphere for the day we were here was perfect. Live music, ocean breeze, low humidity was perfect. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.
The only thing I didn't like is the young lady taking names to be seated. She took our name and said 15 to 30 minutes, Ok. We stepped back away from the little table and were talking with another couple leaving and she did not call our name out when it was our time. We were 12 feet away to not crowd the entrance. She needs to do better.
But other than that I would recommend you give it a try if you have not already.

Went for drinks to celebrate. View was great. Drinks were average (mine was good, wife found hers way too sweet). Service was a little slow, but tolerable (they did try to request a high tip 20%+). Restroom available for bar staff is poorly maintained. Probably great for sunset, but otherwise average.

Incredible brunch! We showed up at 1 on a Sunday. Getting a table was a hassle due to confused staff but our table service was excellent. Live music, gorgeous view, excellent food/drinks. We will be back! Bonus- dogs are welcome and they happily brought our girl a big bowl of fresh water and lots a snuggles!
