This is easily the best restaurant on the space coast. The family and staff are so passionate about their place, it shows through in every facet - the atmosphere, service, food and the people. The menu is concise, but seasonal and perfect. The specials are always awesome and creative. This is a “must go” spot if you are in the area. I have had so many great meals here.

Our server was amazing and the fresh catch of the day was the best ever! Somehow, they found out it was my birthday weekend and they brought a complementary lemon crème brûlée. Everything was fabulous and will definitely be returning!

Miles, our server was exceptionally knowledgeable about the details of the menu, wine and beer lists. He answered my multitude of questions politely and catered to every whim. The owner was even better! She made sure we were enjoying our meals to the utmost. Kudos to the chef! Hubs & I shared the Thai chili shrimp app that was flavorful & warm but not terribly spicy. I'm not a grits person but am always willing to try something different. The garlic-Parmesan grits were so creamy and tasty I could have eaten a double helping! The grilled snapper was done to perfection, flaky and just needed a squeeze of lemon. I requested a lemon wedge & Miles brought six! I couldn't decide on the sauce so Miles brought both, mango salsa and creamy dill. Loved both!! The homemade Key Lime Pie was perfect, not too tart and not too sweet...a perfect ending to a perfect meal!

The food was outstanding... but whilst our waiter was very nice, the service was very subpar. They had a large party dining in and we waited an hour to get our entrees, after eating our appetisers. It was my birthday and there was no acknowledgement of it during the meal. The fish was wonderful, but sadly I am not sure we would go back as the service was so mediocre.

Fresh fish with unique preparations. Crunchy onion coating with fantastic sauces was excellent. Our server, Ian, was perfectly attentive and very helpful in explaining the menu. His description enticed me to try the Fried Spinach as a side. It did not disappoint. His description of the fresh fish offered was on point. Key Lime Pie is a must. We took a slice back to the hotel and enjoyed it later that evening. It is a small dining space with tables close together. Be prepared for a noisy dinner. Parking is in the back. Some better signage or a heads up on their website would have been helpful.

Islands is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I had out of town guests and we were all pleased with our meal and service. Nothing bad to say as usual, only positive. I can't wait to go back!

Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the potatoes that came with my special reminded me of the small frozen breakfast potatoes. But everything else was excellent.
