Bought the 3 course fish dinner, which only offered sheepshead. The fish was bland and does not have a firm texture. I think the selection of sheepshead as the only fish selection ruined the dinner. I have gone to this restaurant several times, and always enjoyed my meal, until this time.

Islands Fish Grill never disappoints. The service is friendly and professional. The atmosphere is welcoming. We love to cook, but we always say that the fish we get here, we can't get ourselves and we also can't cook it like that at home. It is a simple approach that works...perhaps because of the simplicity.

Do not miss the chance to eat at this Family Run Restaurant! Island Fish has the freshest fish around. Do yourself a favor and get the Onion Crusted Fish special over grits or Mashed Potatoes with fried spinach. The sauce over the fish compliments the sides well. The service is always impeccable. Most of the servers are guys who grew up together and work well together! Can't say enough good things about this restaurant!
First time here. I had the sheepshead fish. It was delicious. So fresh, cooked perfect. And there fried spinach was so good. Very different. The servers were the best. Very knowlegable about everything. I will be going back soon.

I sat at the bar with friend waiting for a table. Our bartender, Matt was so nice(as were all the staff) that we stayed at bar for dinner. Food was great. Service was just as good. Highly recommended.

We chose the Island Fish Grill from the Open Table app allowing for proximity to our hotel. The service from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out was nothing short of outstanding. From Miles our server, who had such an easy way about his approach to his knowledge of the menu to the Service Assistant (wish I had caught his name) who was accommodating and friendly and service oriented also. The two made a great team. Our food was phenomenal! My wife had the Prix Fixe menu with Sheepshead fish and I had the Crab Cakes. The food was served hot and tasty and was a great value! We will definitely return. On a side note, the reservation stated it was my wife's birthday and Miles brought our to go dessert with a candle in it for him! Again, nothing short of fantastic for the whole evening.
