A great meal and experience! We sat in the back section for a more private dining experience. Service was fantastic (Ian was our server)! This was one of our favorite meals as all the food was prepared well. No need for any changes from apps to dessert.
For apps we had raw oysters and thai chili shrimp. Mains with sides were onion crusted grouper, grits and mashed potatoes, and fried spinach. Dessert was key lime pie and creme brûlée.

Islands Fish Grill is my favorite restaurant for fresh fish. I ordered the fresh catch of corvina prepared Cajun with a chipotle sauce and chose garlic parmesan grits and broccolini for my sides. This is my personal favorite! At a lot of places, you go just to eat. At Islands Fish Grill, you go to savor every bite! Of course you can't go wrong with any of their desserts. I had the chocolate mousse with whipped cream, and it was smooth, rich, and delicious.
Service is always friendly and professional. Miles, thank you for making my birthday extra special.

Onion crusted fish is excellent. House salad upgrade for a side dish is well worth the $2.

Great place for fresh fish. 3 fresh catches daily and prepared in 3 different manners and sauces. Great white fish chowder. Other food choices also but fish is the headliner here. Full bar. Home made desserts. Nice ambiance. Small restaurant feel. Casual. Friendly service. Reasonable prices for fresh fish.

This was our first visit to this wonderful restaurant and we will DEFINITELY be back. Everything was perfect...our waiter Miles was delightful, ambiance was perfect & our food was delicious. Wonderful cozy little restaurant.
We gas a wonderful dinner. The server was knowledgeable about all the fish options and was checking our needs . The restaurant was very busy but we week bit rushed or ignored. Very pleased.
Jeff did an excellent job with food preparation and presentation. Our server -Ian- helpful and knowledgeable. If you can get a reservation it is worth the money and time.

The food is amazing. Freshest seafood you can get and cooked to perfection. I had the crab cake for an app (loaded with blue crab; served on a delicious aioli); for entree I had the snapper (onion crusted) - it was so tasty!
The service was fantastic as well.
I go here every chance I get!

Best restaurant in Melbourne by far. Onion crusted fresh catch with a citrus glaze just pairs so well together. All of the fish is freshly caught and delicious. The fried spinach is mind blowing. A little pricey but definitely worth it.

Absolutely amazing. Tell your waiter what you like and don’t like, let him or her tell you what you want, and then trust the process! Wow!
