I had the misfortune of inviting this chef into our home, and it turned out to be a disaster. The meal was nothing short of a catastrophe: the food was burnt, the kitchen was left in a huge mess, and to top it off, our good cookware was stolen. As if that wasn’t enough, he had the audacity to break out our fine China and crystal—completely unnecessary and inconsiderate.
The butter sauce was a watery, bland disappointment, and the fish was nothing short of awful—clearly old, leftover fish that had no place on a plate, let alone served at such a high price. To make matters worse, the meal was way overpriced for the quality (or lack thereof) provided.
This was supposed to be a special evening, but it ended up being a ruined experience. I would strongly advise against hiring this chef. If you're looking for quality food and service, look elsewhere

My team couldn't stop raving about the food all weekend. His flexibility with our eating schedule, dietary restrictions, and menu options made him so easy to work with. You can really tell that he loves what he does. He & his team were kind, receptive, and friendly. Above all, they were willing to go the extra mile (literally) to come to us each day to drop off the food, and pick it up when we were done. The care they put into this service was unmatched. Chef Gabriel was hired to cater my daughter’s wedding and it was a disaster! The food was cold, the steak was undercooked, the presentation was terrible, we did not have all of the food choices that were agreed upon and paid for. He was not prepared to serve the 90 or so guest and many of them were left standing in line for 30 to 45 minutes waiting on food to come out and many never ate. He knew upfront when they were booking him that the venue did not have a kitchen and he told my daughter and her fiancé that it would not be a problem as he would rent an airbnb next to the venue and cook the food there. He did not do this. He instead had 1 hot plate, 1 frying pan and what looked like a small toaster oven to prepare the entire meal. It was one of the most terrible experiences I ever had and it definitely caused undue stress for the Bride and Groom as well as their parents. To make matters worse he offered no apology except to say that it would not have happened if he had a stove. He did not seem to care at all about any of these issues, his last remark to me was that if he didn’t have to stop to talk to me he could be cooking. I would give negative stars if possible.

I'm not sure exactly what the couple had agreed to for their reception, but I was recently at a wedding reception, about 80-90 people. There was one bartender for all those people, she was very nice, but in over her head with that many people. They had run out of several mixers and alcohol well before the end of the cocktail hour, and it took well over 20 minutes to get my one and only drink. When the buffett started, I was at table 2, and much of my food was cold straight from the chafing dishes. They ran out of food several times, and people were just standing there waiting for more food to come out. I heard many say they never got to eat. I hope the couple was refunded for the meals not served, I'm sure it was a hefty price per person. Judging by the reviews I see, I would stick to using this company for small dinners, but they don't seem to handle large gatherings well.

We hired Chef Gabriel for a small wedding reception at our home . After speaking with us on what we were looking for, he put together a fantastic menu. Veal Marsala , chicken piccata, sea bass, filet mignon, lobster bisque, crab cakes, mushroom risotto, various salads, and meats and cheeses The food was absolutely spectacular and perfectly prepared and the presentation was amazing including table side bananas foster! In addition to preparing a fantastic meal, he did all the shopping as well as the cleanup at the end. I would highly recommend his services. It was definitely a 5 star experience. Thank you Chef for making our reception so memorable!
