I would have given this place five stars probably if it were not for the overcharge on my bill that was not refunded once it was brought to their attention. I ordered a quiche with a fruit add-on. With the fruit add-on the total was supposed to be $12.99. That was supposed to include the quiche, the fruit, and one side. I ended up getting an additional side of hash browns W/cheese and onions on it. I was charged extra for a fruit cup which was $4.79. I should not have been charged for a fruit cup because that was supposed to have been included in the 12.99 as you can see from the menu. When I brought this to the cashiers attention She gave me a credit of $0.50. and tried to convince me that everything was as it should be despite me showing her the math calculations on my phone. She then went on to tell me that grits were not part of one of the sides that you can get with the quiche which you can tell from the menu is not correct. So she tried to use that as a rationalization for me being charged for the fruit cup, which I'm not sure how even that made sense. And I don't know where the 50 cent credit that she gave me came from. So I spent $30+ for a breakfast that I had only planned to spend around $20 or so give or take. I am on a budget and every little bit counts and adds up. For that price I could have just stayed at the hotel and paid for their breakfast. I went to this restaurant because it was more affordable or so I thought. The food was good however. I would return here if I'm ever in the area again but I would just say to please check your bill before you leave to make sure that you are not being overcharged But even with doing that it may not be refunded fully when brought to their attention.. A part of me wish's I had not left a tip now because that would have recouped some of what I was overcharged, but of course it was not the waitress's fault. I don't typically leave a lot of reviews on places but I'm on a budget, and on vacation & I chose that place for a reason, so it bothered me that I paid more for something than I should have.

Best blueberry muffin in existence.
Been going since the early 1990s, and they haven't changed one iota. Still the BEST blueberry pancakes of anywhere I've ever eaten. The muffins continue to impress first-timers when we bring them along. Three cheers for our waitress in the old days, Selma. Today's servers are as easy going and just as quick for coffee refills and a friendly smile. We love The Blueberry Muffin!

We ordered blueberry pancake, grits, fried potatoes. No seasoning on anything, grits were cold, not cooked through. Biscuit doughy, cold. It was just a very plain meal!

Cute breakfast spot on beach side. Pretty busy after 7:30am. Daily special was only $6.75 for 2 eggs, 3 meat, home fries, muffin and coffee (options). Food was fine. Muffin was fine. Would be back for the special. Service was great! Clean atmosphere and homey-feeling.
Parking: If the lot is getting full then it’s getting full inside. Perfect ratio.

It was ok. The food wasn't that good unless it was drenched in syrup, gravy, jam or butter. The muffins are ok and the service was average I guess.
It' sounds dumb but what struck me as odd is that mugs were placed on the table before we sat and if you weren't having coffee they'd take them away. I don't know who handled that mug before it got to me assuming it wasn't washed because it may not have been used to drink out of. But we were picking them up and messing with them while we were waiting for our server so for all I know those mugs may be dirty just from being handled by fidgety hands of another customer from a different table that didn't want coffee.

No street or curb appeal, inside is a basic simple country like diner. Simple old folks country style cooking. Not bad, a bit bland though, most likely for the older crowd that are regulars at this establishment. The table has salt and pepper and they give you ketchup and chulula, so that helps some. The food was cooked fine, not dried out. Normal size portions, but a bit over priced for the size and quality. Definitely has a place in the community for the clientele it brings. Appreciated the waitresses respect towards each other, nice to not hear drama.

My wife and I Stopped after a friend recommended. Quick and friendly service. Our wraps were large and delicious. Our sides were fries and coleslaw. Fries were good but coleslaw was almost flavorless. Decided to get 2 muffins to go, blueberry and banana nut. Both were dry, and with out any sweetness. Lunch was pretty good, but I’d definitely skip the muffins. Walmart makes better ones.
