Charlie & Jake's Barbecue

I've been to the EG restaurant several times for lunch, but the other day, the loud music at 12:00 n was unbearable. Twice asked the waitress if she could turn it down but got no relief. I don't want a nightclub at lunchtime on a weekday.

Placed my final order from Charlie & Jake’s today. I continued to give this place another chance for far too long. They have a dedicated drive through window for to go orders, and are seemingly incapable of putting together an entire order completely and correctly.
I ordinarily sit in my car and check through my order so I can figure out what they forgot. Tonight, in the pouring rain and with a crying baby, I did not do that.
When I arrived home and unpacked my order, I called to be refunded for the items they forgot and got wrong. I was placed on a lengthy hold for a manager, who upon picking up let me know, with an incredibly poor attitude, that the owner would have to refund me the next time they’re in. Cut to 30 minutes later and I had a pending refund - for the wrong (too little) amount! - on my credit card.

I don’t know if it’s the owner, manager or just bad front line employees, and I no longer care. This terribly run business won’t be getting any more of my money.

Summer was a great server! Food was amazing as well. Quick and delicious. Great job, all around. Can’t wait to come back. I would recommend asking for Summer next time you come in!

My husband and I love the BBQ here, best in Brevard hands down! Gabriella is such a wonderful and friendly server. She went out of her way to make sure we were taken car of the whole meal. Love this place!

We come to Melbourne every summer and always like to try a new place to eat! So glad we tried Charlie’s & jacks! It was amazing and our waiter Maverick was so kind, and did a fantastic job! We will definitely be adding this to our trips yearly visits!

The only restaurant to ever survive this location still holds the throne! I grew up with Charlie & Jake’s being across the street of Eau Gallie, with this location being an RJ Gators, among many others. The food here has always been amazing, and I enjoy bringing my family here. Awesome spot.

Bone .Nicki was our server and she was very
