Guppy's On the Beach

The food was not good! I was praying that I did not get food poisoning. The seafood bowl had over cooked lobster which had an overwhelming fishy taste which lead me to believe it was old. We also ordered the lobster risotto which when you turned the bowl upside down it stuck to the plate. For anyone that knows about risotto it is supposed to be creamy, this was a clump of mush. The risotto as well had a weird fishy after taste and also a rotten milk taste. They did comp the meals and offer new meals however after that we were too scared to eat anything else.

Food was delicious, Grouper sandwich, seafood pasta, crab cakes, lobster mac all delicious, had the chef special for dessert tres Leche cake was soo delicious. We enjoyed everything so much we came back same day for dinner.

Had a great meal! Service was great! Tried some new appetizers that were awesome. Lobsterescargo & Beef Carpaccio.

disappointed, took our waiter Tyler far too long to even come to our table and once we didn't order alcohol, he lost all interest. He clearly forgot about our food and when it came it was obvious it had been sitting under warming lamps - mashed potatoes were not even warm and sauce was congealed on top of my grouper - grouper was tasteless, no seasonings to speak of - not even a little salt. Salmon dish was reported as good, but risotto was really basic. Steamed veggies had frozen carrots mixed in and were awful. Bread with oil was good, limited serving and burger and fries were good. Not sure where the hype is bc it was not with our meal.

The food was delicious, the best in the area. The service was outstanding, highly recommend.

This restaurant remains one of the highlights on the island, excellent food with generous proportions, and the drinks superb! And with an excellent waitstaff, with our server/bartender did a great job, remaining both aloof as well as attentive!

So glad we chose Guppy's - what an incredible meal! Our server Kim was fantastic and made the night even more special. We started with the octopus, which was perfectly cooked, and loved the warm bread with individual olive oil dipping sauces. Our dinners from the specials menu were full of creative flavors—I had the fish duo and my mom had the shrimp and peach salad, both amazing. Great food, great vibes, and fair prices. We'll definitely be back!

Complimentary Valet Service, no stress with parking! Food was Excellent, Staff is friendly and helpful. Call Ahead for seating, place gets packed fast!

7.45 pm reservation.. after many times checking with the front desk / manager , @ 8.15 pm we were sat at a table right in front of the ever swinging kitchen door.. just missing our chair 😱After complaining we were sat at another table by the manager.
Having frequently visited Guppy’s since 1997 , we knew what to order , so @ 8.30 pm our starter was served and within 10 minutes our main course was , to our astonishment was brought too .
They took it back to the kitchen and served it again later 🫣
The manager took care of the issue and kindly said the starter was on the house … thank you !
But for us , very disappointing, no more Guppy’s. in the future.
This always so nice “ local restaurant, had become a tourist “ money maker , which “ allows “you 1 hour and 30 minutes to enjoy your food 😜

Our server she had very short hair she was fantastic! Are food was delicious and the atmosphere is wonderful! It's definitely worth trying out.

Courtney was our waiter and was horrible almost lost my friends money and we were in there for hours (we ate in 30 minutes), I come here every month with my mom and this was the first time I was disappointed. Food amazing as always though.

We still come here twice every summer vacation. With Open Table, we were seated immediately upon arrival. Server was very attentive and food came out very quickly on a very busy Saturday night. I had the swordfish and wife had the shrimp sauté and we added the tasty Cesar salads. If you haven't been, you have to try it. Best food in the area
