Went here for ice cream on vacation in August. The owner is super friendly and the ice cream was delicious. It’s all homemade by the owner. It’s an incredibly friendly atmosphere and I would rate it a 10/10. Hope this shop, the owner, and everyone in Tampa stays safe.

LuLu’s homemade ice cream is delicious! Tucked into the corner it’s a little hard to see BUT she is the absolute sweetest and the ice cream was so, so good. We tried many samples and settled on Twix, Fresh Strawberry and German Chocolate. Definitely going back for more!!

During my visit, I had the most fantastic root beer float—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with that classic fizzy kick. My friend, visiting from Holland, indulged in a scoop of caramel pecan ice cream made with homemade Madagascar vanilla, and it was simply sublime—smooth, luscious, and bursting with flavor.

What truly sets Lulu’s apart, though, is the atmosphere. The shop is adorably decorated and feels like a warm hug from the past, evoking memories of childhood joy. Lulu herself is the heart and soul of this place—she’s incredibly welcoming, making everyone feel seen and valued. Her warmth and hospitality make the whole experience even sweeter.

I can’t wait to return to Lulu’s Ice Cream, not just for the amazing desserts, but also to bask in the friendly and inviting ambiance once again. It’s a delightful spot that you’ll want to visit time and time again!

I love Ice Cream but don’t eat it often. Came to Indian Shores for the weekend and was so excited to find LuLu’s. This isn’t the chain ice cream you find at so many shops. It’s homemade, they had amazing homemade waffle cones, the staff was super friendly, the ice cream was delicious and the atmosphere perfect. Go try this place out. I’m going back again before I go home for sure.

I completely agree with the one star reviews. I ordered a sundae that was more like a kiddie cone with a drizzle of store bought caramel for $7.00. The scoops were so small that it took literally 5 spoonfuls to finish it. The ice cream was very good but portions were so small, I won't be coming back. Service was great, though.

The best ice cream I've ever eaten ?! We was graciously served by the owner herself who hand makes these ice creams. She is wonderful. Everything was clean and the kids absolutely loved the atmosphere . We will make her place a yearly tradition ?.

We have been coming to Indian Shores for over 20 years and have tried just about every ice cream shop in the area. When I say Lu Lu’s is one of the very best, I mean it! The owner and employees are some of the friendliest people you will meet. You can’t go wrong with any flavors of ice cream here. Their flavor combinations are unique and change often, so there is always an excuse to go get ice cream! Lu Lu’s is a must if you are in the area!

Ice cream was good but man is it expensive!! Not sure why it’s so overpriced. About $10/cone. We’re on vacation so whatever but wouldn’t go back if I was a local. Too overpriced in my opinion. Wouldn’t be able to afford it taking my family there! Geez!

pauly is the best ever!! Such a nice friendly person!! He literally was closed and opened it just for my family. I asked if he had Superman and he told me the flavors change but he happened to have one more and put it on the house ?? such a genuine guy He deserves good business!!!
