Original Pizza & Restaurant

My family went to Original Pizza tonight for dinner. Our food came out and was quite yummy. Then I placed an order for to go for my sisters family. After I waited for 25 minutes we asked how much longer to the the three people behind the counter. They were all looking at each other like what order did you get an order? No did you? No? Then after showing our receipt they said oh we didn’t put the order in with the kitchen. They said it should take 7 minutes. 15 minutes later I asked where the pizza was. They said two will be ready soon. I asked about the third and they were like oh yeah. We still need to make that one. 10 minutes more we got three pizzas but no salad. One of the pizzas was still not right. (No cheese was requested and it was covered in cheese). So they had to remake that one. Then asked again for the salad and was told that they don’t have the salad dressing that we ordered so I got a different one. Never offered to refund any of the expense. Never offered if there was anything that could do to make it better. Just had to wait over an hour for a to do order. Overall the whole experience was a service night mare. That said - once they fixed the orders the food was not bad.

The pizza was a little above average but the garlic knots were the best I have ever had. The place was clean. The staff was super friendly. Price was average.

The cheese pizza was good, the pepperoni pizza was really good, and the spinach pizza was pretty good, the mushrooms were too much. The house salad wasn't bad for $3 and the Greek salad was really good. Staff was really friendly and would recommend this place. Kind of pricey ($69 for 3 large pizzas and two salads)

Best gluten free Pizza I‘ve ever had. The owner is very friendly and told us a lot interesting things about his life. 10/10

Small, cute, little family business. The puzza was a little more greasy than what Id prefer, but still very good. Garlic bread with cheese was really good.

First visit to Original Pizza and it was excellent pizza. Also saw others have good looking salads and subs.

Delivery not available. Only downside. Pizza was deliciously hot! Marinara for garlic knots or bread served hot!! Which I love. So many places serve marinara sauce cold. Salad is a generous portion. Would definitely eat here again when visiting the beach.

The pizza dough and the bread they use for the meatball or chicken parmigiana subs are crispy on the outside light and fluffy on the inside. It’s not that normal heavy sub roll bread. I’ve had the meatball sub and the chicken parmigiana sub. Today I had a dinner salad and a couple of 2 topping pizza slices. They even feature a Gluten-free pizza crust which is excellent with the ricotta sauce. Worth stopping in and checking it out.

Amazing Gluten Free pizza! I am not celiac but I have a highly reactive wheat allergy and I had no reaction. Hands down best GF pizza I’ve ever had. Crust was cracker thin and crispy even on the bottom throughout. I got the Hawaiian. They do not skimp on the toppings. My husband got the regular meat pizza and liked it as well. Going to try the taco pizza this evening!

My family and I always look forward to getting pizza here while on vacation, it's the best pizza I've had in years. The also have soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta, and stromboli. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and overall service is excellent. The restaurant is cute and cozy with indoor and outdoor seating. I like that Original Pizza is within walking distance of our condo at the Barefoot Beach Resort and after a delicious meal you can walk to play some putt putt and see and even feed the baby gators at Smugglers Cove which makes for a fun occasion. We can't wait for our next trip to Florida so we can go to our favorite restaurant.

Visiting from Nashville, Tn. Very good pizza and friendly staff. The gentleman who took our order was very friendly. The older brother came out from the back and struck up a conversation with us asking us where we were from! Pizza was delicious! Had high quality cheese and plenty of it! Great prices. Sad we don’t have this restaurant back home. Must visit this place!

Great little gem! Came here after a day on the beach and it was just what we were looking for. Pizza is fantastic and service is even better. Wish we were local, but will definitely visit again during our stay!

The best pizza I’ve eat in a long time came from Kentucky for vacation. The friendliest staff, we spoke with the owners son and he was a perfect gentleman. Also I loved the prayer board they had behind the counter he offered us the opportunity to utilize the prayer cards so we did. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.Rob

Just checked into our beach condo saw this restaurantRead the reviews ... from one end of the spectrum to thr other.Well I took a chance. Phoned it in, pick up 15 minutes.Walked in to a friendly welcome and I shared my anticipation of their pizza .A promptly delivered pizza was presented to me from young man with personality, also wishing me a Happy BirthdayWell it was delicious.... really deliciousHaving some leftovers now ... still deliciousWe love our pizzas and this placed delivered the goods
