You will never get fresher fish unless you’re eating it on your own boat. Great place, great seafood, great people.

Really cool spot on the river. Fresh fish right off their boats. Buy some to take home or eat at the food truck. Or both!

I'm very particular about smoked mullet, mainly because so many places dry it out during their smoking process. Well, I tried the smoke mullet Brooks sells. Simply put, it was quite amazing. A nice smoked flavor, seasoned wonderfully, flaky, and definitely not dried out. They only had the regular smoked mullet, and I wanted to try both regular and BBQ. Few bones to pick out, which is normal for smoked mullet, but not an excessive amount like I've found at other places. My younger sister actually went in for me. She said the staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The price for the smoked mullet was fair. I look forward to trying some of their offerings, especially the BBQ smoked mullet. Give them a try if you like smoked mullet. You won't be disappointed.

Wow. Been wanting to visit since we moved to Ocala. Very happy. The seafood display is impressive and they expertly filleted our red snapper giving us two large filets that will make two meals for us at a really excellent price. Clearly very fresh seafood. They had fresh oysters for less than $1 each, gulf/Key West shrimp, a variety of spices and sauces, Dungeness crab, you name it. About 30 miles from On Top of the World Ocala and well worth the trip.

Fresh fish right off the boat, you can buy it whole or they will fillet for you. We cooked the fish in the grill and it was amazing
Very Clean!
Will be back to try the food truck, it was a Monday and they don't open Monday.

Truly worth the visit! This was such an enjoyable visit! Traveling through to Fort Desoto and had a hankerin' for fresh seafood. The service was beyond service! The young women made it a personable experience. Didn't mind digging through fish to get a smaller one (there are only two of us). Smiled, laughed was patient as we kept adding more to our purchase...it all looked so amazing! She filleted it at our request and asked if we wanted the carcass( some people do, and we didn't). She was worth the visit in itself. Very positive and pleasant.
Now as the clams, red mullet, redfish, dips, crayfish sausage, fabulous and fresh!!!!
