This old house has some miles on it but the food and service are just fine for a local joint and the biscuits and gravy was huge and the pancakes about perfect. If you are not scared of a dated interior and some 70's upholstery, stop in and get some simple good food.

Really nice people, good food and one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. My breakfast is out of the kitchen in less than 5 minutes. if you are traveling 98 north,south or 40 West, make it a stop even if just for a good cup of coffee. stretch your legs and look at the withlacoochee River. if you are on 98 and at the withlacoochee River you're at Mama Sally's, East side of the road north side of the river.

Looked for a place on the main road for lunch. Food was good, hot, and plentiful. I got the Fish Fry, one of daily specials. Fresh fish, cut in long fingers(5) w breading and deep fried (i ordered light breading). Sooo good! Came with side of fries and creamy slaw. Both good!

This Race restaurant was lovely. Our waitress was a little sweetheart. All the everything was perfect the pancakes, the right toast, the eggs, the corned beef hash was the best we’ve ever had. We were in and out for $13 and it was amazing.

Stopped in for late lunch. Server was pleasant and efficient. Food was a good temp, and tasty. Atmosphere is unique.
This is a gem of a place, super fast. I get two eggs, bacon home fries with white toast and it will be in front of me in five minutes. Great quality meat and potatoes. I sit at the bar but there is plenty of seating . I walked to the bridge last time it right next door to the withlacoochee River. I have been there three times and the same special couple have been there every time super nice people. I would stop just for the coffee if I wasn't hungry all the time.
