Shaka Sushi and Cocktail Bar

Went here a couple weeks ago with a group to celebrate a birthday. Food was fantastic and Nick was the best server! Great experience all around!

We stopped here on the night we got in from driving for dinner. Got here around 5:30 on a Monday and it was not busy at all. Seating is nice because it’s shaded and not in direct sun. The noodles were delish, the sushi was not. I expected at a sushi place for the sushi to be cleanly made and really good for the price. It was pretty sloppy and not good. I was not impressed. I’ve had better from Publix. Staff was nice but we had to ask for more water, the check, to order etc. I don’t recommend.

Service was good, atmosphere was good….food. Not so much. Dumplings were pasty. Udon noodles were doughy. Broth did not have a good flavor. Chicken was all dark meat. Prices were high. Ramen for $25??? Will not be back.

I had a great experience here! Party of three, seated immediately. Friendly staff. Food brought out quickly.

We ordered a dish with crab on the side but they did not make the dish without crab. We got crab on the side anyway! Also, our waitress said that the rolls we ordered were gluten free but they weren’t. They had the same crunchy flakes that made the miso soup not gluten free as well. Thankfully, the staff were incredibly accommodating and we had a fantastic experience regardless.

We loved everything we ordered. Would totally come back!

A great restaurant for any type of crowd. I went with my girlfriend and her two friends and we had a blast. We were looking all over the place for somewhere that wasn't swamped with people, and even with a wait, we were seated before the estimated time and given great service. We stopped by again before our trip was over and just like before, Shaka was amazing. I most definitely recommend stopping by here if you are able too, super yummy food !

Very disappointed!!!
After we other 3 "kids' meal" we ended up ordering more food in another restaurant! The portion is a huge "JOKE" even if its for our kids the portion cost about $13 is ridiculous! I don't understand why they charged me 15% in GRAT for something that I pick up at the place? I don't even have any service there! Don't ripped people like that! Is not about the $5.40 box that you charged me its because the way I feel after I saw the one spoon of rice and 3 little tiny pieces of chiken and also charging for Grat! Come on!!!!!

We came to visit rosemary and then saw this place and wanted to try based on the amazing reviews. The wait was 1 hour long, but that’s normal if it’s a good place. Our food took over an hour to come out after we ordered it. We checked in at 8oclock and. we left few mins before 11 pm. I wish they had warned us about the wait of the food arrival. They could’ve said” hey we got a couple big parties ahead of you so it could take awhile.” And leave it to us to whether we wanted to wait or not.
The food was mediocre. Food was not worth the wait of over two hours total. I was really hoping the food to be what others said but to our disappointment it wasn’t. Coming from south florida , this is definitely not a place worth the wait. You know a good sushi when you’ve had good sushi.
