Chaylee was our cupcake artisan, she was so sweet and patient and worked so calmly and swiftly with the rush to help me and my mother in law choose an ice cream flavor and box up my dozen cupcakes.

The ice cream was okay, my 7 year old didn’t like her cookie dough (which is rare) and the cookies and cream tasted like they didn’t use sugar. For 3 one scoop cups and a one scoop cone it was almost $40.00 - the line went fast though and the staff was nice.

We went today and the sweet girl working was amazing! She was patient and let us sample several ice creams before we made a decision. We tried the ice cream, cupcakes and sorbet/sprite freeze (which was the star!), but everything was delicious!! It was a hidden gem we happened to stumble upon.

Cupcakes were dry. Even our kids didn't want to finish theirs.

Smallcakes does not open at 7, they open at 10:30. After calling and no answer, we drove from Panama City (45 min) on a tight schedule and was denied any service, although there were workers there who could’ve picked up the phone. I’ve not tried the cupcakes but the misleading info online and the miscommunication from trying to call are what lead me to this review.

I have always loved Smallcakes and have frequented multiple locations . They are beautiful and appeal to any palette. Unfortunately, the 30A franchise location does not stand-up to the other’s standards. They are appealing, but after trying 3 separate times, thinking it was just an off day for them, I will not return. The cupcake itself is dry and seems as if its shelf life has reached expiration. They obviously bake the cakes and keep them in storage for days until they are pulled out and iced fresh each day. The icing tastes fine, but the cupcake itself tastes like stale month old bread. Very disappointing. It is worth the drive to the Miramar location if you want a fresh soft cupcake.

Cupcakes looked great and was so excited to get them when we walked in yet staff was so unfriendly we ended up leaving. We stood in line for about 10 minutes waiting, which wasn’t the shops control. While waiting we tried to stop the doorbell from continuously ringing while the door wasn’t event moving. We were quite literally yelled at for doing so by one of the two staff members and when trying to apologize for unknowingly doing something wrong we were continued to be belittled and yelled at. Wish the service was better enough to stay and get the cupcakes we really wanted…

Delicious cupcakes. Not sure why the rating is so low but I was walking by and just popped in to look and decided I definitely needed to stop back by later on. It was super yummy. Was not busy since it was 3.30. Would definitely return.

Cupcakes were very stale.

We went for cupcakes but the giant chocolate chip cookie covered in icing and M&Ms ended up catching our eye. It was awesome!

This is the best homemade ice cream I’ve ever had. Easily the best ice cream on 30A.
