Mom and went recently and what a shock!! All of the John Wayne decorations are gone! They built a deck on the front! Very nice changes! We really enjoy this restaurant, the food as well as the waitress!

I love this place! To be in such a rural area, the southern food and hospitality was fantastic! The home-cooked meatloaf and mashed potatoes were DELICIOUS!! Definitely making this a favorite spot that's close to my house. 😁

Our first time here, we live over an hour away and it was hands down great. Reminds me of a little mom and pop place I used to work at. Everything was cooked perfectly. I got The hamburger steak while my friend got a ribeye. Delicious. You could tell everything was scratch made and made with care. We will most definitely be back.

They had a ribeye steak special, I asked for it to be medium, it arrived extra well done, dry as can be.
I didn't ask for my money back I didn't ask for a credit, I was with my family I was tired and just wanted a good meal.
I was offered some kind of dessert. Because I was hungry and had to go somewhere else to buy a a cheap meal. Across from them is Domino's the food is good I was able to get a cheesesteak inside a 6 minutes.
I would probably not go back to grits For a steak, but the breakfast is rather good I would probably return for that.
My waitress Sierra with a C, was great. Issue would not have been my waitress I would have demanded my money back, I was only able to eat a little less than half.
We love coming here for a quick breakfast or lunch. Personable staff, always friendly. Food comes out quick, always tasty and a great value.

We were seated quickly however then gad to ask for menus. The order was taken 19 minutes later and the food arrived 40 minutes later. No communication from the wait staff until we asked how long we had to wait. The excuse was big parties before us, so why was that not communicated. We we're not the only unhappy customers.

I tried breakfast lunch and dinner. The omelets are very good. The t bone was cooked perfectly the collards and onion rings were perfect. So was the chuck steak and gravy.. nice staff good cooks.
